A Sneak Peek at Spartacus: Vengeance

On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in "Spartacus: Vengeance". Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. After watching this..I feel....this is a chick flick, yes? Lots of burly shirtless men. I also am reminded of a line from one of my favorite TV shows, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, where they say any scene without dialogue was considered for slow motion. Oh yes..there will be CGI blood.

Dead Babypalooza

Mezco rolls out the creepy little kids like no one else ever has and ever will...an accomplishment that, oddly, no one else has tried to top. Thankfully, a project like Gangsta Babies hasn't derailed the Living Dead Doll train. The wonderful wizards of Mez add a new star to the ranks with Beetlejuice and a pack of ravenous (but still adorable) vampires in LDD series 19. Look for them in 2010!
