Iron Man 3 at Times Square Toys R Us

It's become tradition to put up some mind blowing display..usually of toys...sometimes of props...from the latest geekstravaganza about to hit the big screen. A mini celebration encased in plexiglass, if you will. For The Avengers, it was an all out war with Loki and his Chitauri warriors on the streets of New York City with the giant S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier looming overhead. For The Amazing Spider-Man, it was a selection of Peter Parker's gear including the mask and web shooters straight from the film. Now, with Iron Man 3 mere weeks away, Times Square Toys R Us has erected a mini hall of armors, awesome enough to stop any toy geek dead in his/her tracks and make them all to their knees. Oh...if only we could have an entire wall that looks like this....it's all full of stars... ~dies~

I'm not quite that dramatic about this display...but I'm pretty damn close. Those familiar with my work have seen me put together a mini Hall of Armors before for a photo shoot, but I couldn't construct anything like...THIS...

There are 35 3 and 3 quarter inch Iron Man armors displayed above. We count somewhere in the neighborhood of 55 different armors made in that scale to date! I've still got a soft spot for the classic red and yellow Iron Man in the 6 inch Toy Biz format. What's been your favorite armor figure to date?
