The New DuckTales Cartoon Is Weird... and AWESOME

Disney XD DuckTales cartoon reboot trailer
The last we heard from Disney XD's DuckTales reboot, we got to sing along with the cast and realize we still knew every word to the super catchy theme song. Also, the 10th Doctor was involved...so all was right with the world. Now we get a look at the very modern art style used in this new cartoon series, and get re-acquainted with Donald Duck and his nephews as well as Scrooge McDuck, Webby and Launchpad McQuack. ...It never occurred to me there were so many Scottish ducks in this cartoon...

I count at least three times I went HA! during that trailer. It's a good start!!

"DuckTales" premiering this Summer on Disney XD. The series stars David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck; Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as the voices of Huey, Dewey and Louie, respectively; Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack; Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, and will follow the epic family of ducks on their high-flying adventures around the world.

  2. The charcter design is quite good compare to how lousy it become in most cartoons today, as for the writing if feels medicore-bad; Huey, Dewey and Louie and Webby Vanderquack have more personalities and way of speaking like damn stupid teenagres which is the only age for main charcters in every cartoon, nowdays. God forbidden the main characters will be kids which you can empathize with or adults which can be great role models, no! It always have to be stupid whiney annoying and touchy teenagres.

  3. I hated the original show so much that any time I see on the internet something related to Ducktales I make "grrrrr" sounds just remembering how much I hated it. To me it was boring, predictable and poorly animated. But after watching this intro I just have to say "THANKS!!" all that hatred finally paid back, this new show looks amazing. Huey, Dewey and Louie got no personalities in the original show and Webby was just the "little Mary Sue". As anonymous says, in this new version they're the old repetition of cartoons' teenagers, but now they have distinct personalities and these are soo exaggerated that I find them funny.

I have to watch this little piece of crazyness :D
