Movie lovers will journey into Jim Henson’s magical “Labyrinth” when Fathom Events brings the magical 1986 fantasy-adventure back to the big screen for three days only: April 29, May 1 and May 2. To celebrate the nostalgia of this music-filled classic, starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, fans are encouraged to attend the screenings in costume (in accordance with theater costume policies).
To meet the strong demand for tickets, Fathom Events has added even more screens across the country, with “Labyrinth” now playing in nearly 700 cinemas nationwide.
Each presentation of “Labyrinth” will include introductions by Connelly and by Brian Henson of The Jim Henson Company. Audiences will also enjoy a special theatrical screening excerpt from the award-winning fantasy series, “The Storyteller,” in which Brian Henson will discuss the episode “Soldier and Death” and the special effects techniques that are a hallmark of Jim Henson’s legacy.
Screenings will take place Sunday, April 29; 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time
Tuesday, May 1; 7:00 p.m. local time and Wednesday, May 2; 7:00 p.m. local time
