VGA Partners with Limited Run on Graded Video Game for Charity

Graded Games for Charity
Video Game Authority, a subsidiary of Collectible Grading Authority, is known for their work grading video games and consoles, from Atari to Xbox. Now, they’ve partnered with physical game publisher Limited Run Games to do what they do best – for charity!

The VGA’s latest project is a graded copy of Limited Run’s 2022 exclusive at Comic-Con International in San Diego, the Castlevania Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch, in retro box packaging. Graded 90, the game is up for auction on eBay now, and 100% of the proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“It’s amazing to be able to partner with Limited Run for such a worthy cause,” said CGA President Chad Thompson. “Graded games and consoles are a relatively new market, but the collector base is highly enthusiastic, and the outpouring of support for this auction has been incredible.”

The eBay auction closes Sunday, October 2 at 11:06 AM EST. Find it at: Https://www.ebay.com/itm/175430097395

Collectible Grading Authority (CGA) is the parent company of the well-known and established grading company, Action Figure Authority (AFA), as well as the Video Game Authority (VGA), Collectible Doll Authority (CDA), and Die-Cast Authority (DCA). CGA was founded in the late 2000s, in order to provide toy collectors throughout the world with added peace of mind when making purchases sight unseen. Before CGA, toy collectors, dealers and investors had no universal standard by which to judge an item's condition. CGA has worked diligently for years to develop the standard they use to accurately convey the condition of original and un-tampered-with collectibles, thereby creating a safer collecting environment and helping to ensure that everyone's investments are protected for years to come. They have graded over 400,000 items from action figures, first-shots and prototypes, dolls, die-cast, video games, consoles, to most recently, VHS tapes. All acrylic cases for graded items and available to purchase on their site are manufactured in-house. For more info visit: https://cgagrading.com/
