The 9 to 5 Warriors are inspired by the nostalgic charm of 90s cartoons and retro toys. Brandon Braswell, a lifelong toy enthusiast, created this world where everyday office supplies and leftover food spring to life and wage war in the unlikeliest of battlefields—the office.
“I wanted to create something that captures the imagination like the toys I grew up with,” says Braswell. “9 to 5 Warriors is not just about nostalgia; it’s about sparking creativity and making the ordinary extraordinary. This toyline connects generations, bringing parents and their kids together to create new stories.”
Braswell’s goal for this Kickstarter is not only to deliver a high-quality product to his fans but to showcase original, independent toy designs in a market saturated with remakes. “I’m a lifelong collector, and while nostalgia is great, I wanted to push forward with something new, something bold, that reflects the creativity of the 80s and 90s era.”

9 to 5 Warriors is the brainchild of Brandon Braswell, a toy designer and creative visionary. The series takes place in an office environment where rogue office supplies and spoiled food have come to life, split into two factions: the Water Cooler Commandos and the Break Room Bandits. These quirky characters are fighting for control, office domination, and to protect or exploit the magical properties of the Jinsei energy drink that gave them life.

First up is LIEUTENANT LEAD, Major Eraser’s right-hand man and the perfect supply for any job. Unlike his rogue brother Number 2, Lieutenant Lead is a dependable soldier, always ready to give his all to keep office peace intact.
Following right behind, usually with a loud belch or two, is BRIGADIER BOUNCY, the goofball and explosions specialist... probably not the smartest combo. But while Bouncy brings plenty of laughs, he’s also got the bounce and firepower to keep the Break Room Bandits on their toes!
Next up is NUMBER 2, a misfit supply who doesn’t belong anywhere. Lurking in the shadows, he’s always scheming to become Number 1. Though he stems from the same pencil as his brother Lieutenant Lead, their broken ends will never mend again!
Rising from the bottom of the trash is SERGEANT SPORE, this brute is all brawn and towers over the Commandos. While he can pack a mean punch and break a few pencils, don’t expect any bright ideas—he’s got lettuce for brains and a wastebin full of bad decisions!
Introducing the Kickstarter-exclusive Jinsei-Soaked COLONEL CUSTARD! This limited edition, glow-in-the-dark version captures Custard in his ultimate form—right after his transformation into the evil mastermind he is today.
