NYCC 2022: Playmobil Shows Naruto, A-Team & New Star Trek
Playmobil has been hitting it out of the park with their licensed toy lines re-imagined in the signature art style of the Plamobilian Peoples. For me, the two highest points have been Ghostbusters and Scooby-Doo, which lent themselves exceptionally well to the redesign. Ghostbusters in particular had so much potential that I hope the crew will go back to the license and explore the Real Ghostbusters cartoon universe and their endless legions of ghosts, demons, and unforgettable legendary nightmares. IT'S ON MY WISH LIST! While these items are not on the schedule (so far), we did get a look at what's to come in the next few months at New York Comic Con 2022.

Sweet Suite 2016: LEGO Dimensions Fall Preview & Ghostbusters Story Pack Demo!
Sweet Suite! The enigma of the toy industry bringing a room full of blogger mommies together with..well..me. ...and maybe 4 more guys. This year's toy preview was held on a boat...which wasn't the greatest environment for steady pictures or great lighting, but what the scene lacked in optimal photographic circumstance, it more than made up for with an abundance of amazing toys (and loads of food and drinks! Everyone knows the quickest way to a poor reporter's heart is through his stomach...and to get him drunk. Always get reporters drunk.) LEGO was on hand to show off their latest LEGO Dimensions wave featuring Adventure Time, The A-Team, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible and the female lead Ghostbusters 2016 movie crew! Only LEGO could bring a group like that together, allowing geeks to live out their wildest fantasies where Jake the Dog teams up with BA Baracus, Marty McFly and Batman to destroy the fiendish plot of Lord Business!!! ....Now that's a movie I'd watch for the rest of my life. Let's check out the new buildable video game pieces and dive into a demo of the Ghostbusters Story Pack!

Robot Chicken : Destroyer of Planets
There is only one show on TV where you can tune in and count on the oddest cross overs your geekified mind can handle. That show is called Robot Chicken. With Trump like toy resources and far too much time to make odd noises at each other, sometimes the boys like to abandon the stop motion format in favor of some old school, child like "hand motion" (so named..cuz you use yo hand. pervs.) to bring their favorite toys to LIFE!!! Observe...Follow those durn Robot Chicken boys at http://twitter.com/cyborgturkey and tune into the show weeknights on Cartoon Network on their Adult Swim block. I swear the animation is better than this.

Jazwares A-Team Assembles
The Losers AKA that other A-Team movie has come and gone and now we gear up for the almost real thing as the man with the plan gathers his elite but likeably dysfunctional crew for a big screen run. Jazwares have the toy license and will crank out 3 and 3 quarter figures,
a van for them to pick up chicks in and 12 inch talking figures that convince the female 3 and 3 quarter figures to hop into the van. In any other instance, I'd recite the "vans are bad" speech by Sarah Silverman, but the A-Team just might be able to overcome the evil of vans.

The A-Team is set to invade your home with an action-packed collection of highly detailed 3 ¾-inch Action Figures. Now you can collect all of your favorite characters and recreate your favorite A-Team moments. Perfect for collectors who have been a fan of the team for years or for those just getting in on the action. Available as Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus, Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, and Col. Lynch. (Each figure sold separately)Really? Bosco?!?
Classic A-Team Van with Electronics! The recognizable GMC van is highly detailed featuring its red stripe and a fully equipped interior that fits the 3¾-inch Action Figures. The Van even features sound clips from the movie and action packed sound effects. Now you’re in the driver’s seat with Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus and the team on their most covert missions!

Bring the action to life with these highly detailed 12-inch Collectible Figures of your favorite A-Team characters. Each character features a voice chip with sound clips from the movie creating the ultimate must have for any fan of The A-Team. These collectible figures are available as Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus and Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith. (Each figure sold separately) 12" Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith says your favorite lines from the movie, such as: "Give me a minute I'm good, give me an hour I'm great, you give me 6 months and I'm unbeatable".Congrats to our buddy Sharlto Copley for getting an action figure within his first 5 years on the Hollywood scene!! I wonder if that's a record? Also, side note...No Jessica Biel action figure? Crazy! Make a 12 inch talking Jessica Biel that can be programmed to say your name. PURE GOLD!

NEW A-Team Trailer Brings the Crazy
The Expendables unites the greatest action heroes the movie kingdom has ever known. The Losers brings comic panels to the big screen with Hollywood's hottest stars.
Both are movies about elite mercenaries uniting against a common foe...heavy on the charisma..even heavier on the BOOM factor...and still..there is only one A-Team!
THE A-TEAM follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going “rogue,” they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. Liam Neeson (“Taken”), Bradley Cooper (“The Hangover”), mixed martial arts champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and “District 9” sensation Sharlto Copley, are “The A-Team.”
