Shaun of the Dead Interactive Screenplay

As the final film in Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy speeds toward its August 23rd release, we take a moment to look back at the previous 2 films in all their fence jumping glory. Today, Focus features gives us an in depth look at the creative process behind Shaun of the Dead...the movie that proved horror can be funny again...and not in that "Haha you suck so much we are laughing at you" kind of way. With brilliant writing, superb comedic timing and solid, very realistic characters just trying to survive amid a zombie apocalypse, this movie has gone on to be a cult classic..and one of my favorites. Hit THIS LINK to dive into the Shaun of the Dead Interactive Screenplay!

Director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for a third film following the successes "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) and "Hot Fuzz" (2007). In "The World's End," 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub - The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

THE WORLD'S END opens in theatres on August 23rd, 2013!
