First up, Hasbro reps have pre-preemptively announced there will be no Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise on show in NY this year...
With Toy Fair approaching and Hasbro’s annual Entertainment Brand Preview Day scheduled for Saturday, February 14th, we wanted to reach out and clarify what Hasbro’s Star Wars presence will entail at this year’s show.
As usual, Hasbro will be exhibiting a variety of fun and exciting Star Wars products from across its portfolio of brands, including Star Wars action figures, Star Wars Galactic Heroes and more. There will be no toys based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Star Wars Episode VII) shown at Toy Fair this year.
Obviously, we know that there’s a huge amount of anticipation for Star Wars toys this year, and we wanted to be forthcoming about this as we know it might make a difference for some of you in regards to travel plans. While we’re happy to host all of you at Entertainment Brand Preview Day and look forward to having you check out the latest and greatest toys from Star Wars and Hasbro’s other exciting brands, we want you to have as much information as possible to be able to plan your travel and coverage.
We’re extremely excited for the year ahead—which will undoubtedly be one of the most exciting years ever for fans of Star Wars and Hasbro’s Star Wars toys—and we look forward to working with each of you extensively over the coming year.

Hasbro reps made this announcement about G.I. Joe showings at Toy Fair 2015 (after a lackluster 2014):
G.I. Joe will not be part of Hasbro's presence at this year's show. We are planning our 2015 G.I. Joe product reveals for this year's G.I. JoeCon in Springfield, Illinois from April 9-12.
We had wondered if G.I. Joe would once again get the cold shoulder after an under-performing, months late movie, but Dave from Rebelscum pointed out they've just appointed a new brand manager for the line, so perhaps we'll be back to full steam come Spring of 2015! Crossing my war mongering fingers.
Onto Spider-Man, which has enjoyed a place among Hasbro's new Marvel Infinite Legends with a much loved (and seldom whined about) Ultimate Goblin build-a-figure series. While one whole series for 2014 was hardly enough to quench our appetites, it took distribution that long to assure no one had to pay scalper prices for the sought after Black Cat and Carnage figures in the line, as well as all the swap out/redeco/chase figures...so baby steps. We got a look at Hasbro's 2015 wave at San Diego Comic-Con, and now a new graphic from Robotkingdom.com shows the full lineup including:
2x WARRIORS OF THE WEB SPIDER WOMAN
2x WARRIORS OF THE WEB SPIDERGIRL
1x SPIDERMAN 2099
1x ANTI VENOM
1x DAREDEVIL
1x CLASSIC SPIDERMAN
Number in the front indicates the case ratio, telling you who will be the harder figures to get. Kind of odd the ladies get a 2 per case slot, yea? Here's the eye candy, along with a recap of our SDCC pics from Emilie Noetzel...
And just for good measure, here's another look at the next Marvel Legends wave with the Build-A-Figure Odin which includes Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Iron Fist (white costume), classic outfit Hawkeye and Machine Man!
Hit THIS LINK for all the Marvel Legends images from SDCC 2014 (with the wave 1 lineup HERE) and HERE for the 3.75 inch Marvel Infinite Series and a couple of Age of Ultron goodies from New York Comic Con!
