The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has announced seven new recurring cast members for the forthcoming second season, currently in production in the UK.

Class is in session for the Supes. Amazon Studios has ordered a new series spinoff of The Boys, the Emmy-nominated subversive superhero drama from Sony Pictures Television. The untitled new series will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

NYCC 2021: Amazon Prime Video Panel Schedule

Amazon Prime Video today announced virtual panels for New York Comic Con’s Metaverse for fan-favorite series and highly anticipated new titles The Legend of Vox Machina, The Expanse, The Wheel of Time, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hanna. Amazon Studios Adapts Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys

Amazon Studios today announced that it has ordered a series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel Anansi Boys. Anansi Boys will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The six episode limited series will begin shooting in Scotland later this year.

Based on Gaiman’s novel of the same name, Anansi Boys follows Charlie Nancy, a young man who is used to being embarrassed by his estranged father. But when his father dies, Charlie discovers that his father was Anansi: trickster god of stories. And he learns that he has a brother. Now his brother, Spider, is entering Charlie’s life, determined to make it more interesting but making it a lot more dangerous. 

Robert Kirkman's INVINCIBLE Renewed for 2 More Seasons

In advance of its highly anticipated April 30 Season 1 finale, Amazon Studios today announced it has renewed Robert Kirkman’s (The Walking Dead) hour-long, adult animated series Invincible for a second and third season. Clive Barker to Rewrite Zombies vs. Gladiators

Amazon.com, Inc. today announced that Hellraiser creator and prolific horror and fantasy writer Clive Barker will rewrite the action horror project, Zombies vs. Gladiators, for Amazon Studios. Based in ancient Rome, the Zombies vs. Gladiators story opens as a shaman who is about to die in the Coliseum casts a spell that unleashes the world’s first zombies. It’s up to a gladiator to stop the spread of the zombie horde and save Rome. From the moment it debuted at Amazon Studios, Zombies vs. Gladiators has been one of the most creatively engaging scripts, spurring tremendous interest within the community and movie fans alike, indicating it’s mainstream and commercial viability for the studio. As a result of this overwhelming and popular support, Amazon is moving forward to develop the project with Clive Barker at the helm.
