UDON bringing Kenichi Sonoda to Comic-Con to Launch BUBBLEGUM CRISIS: COMPLETE ARCHIVE

UDON Entertainment is proud to announce that acclaimed manga creator, character designer, and anime legend Kenichi Sonoda will attend Comic-Con International San Diego (SDCC) for the first time, as UDON’s guest. Sonoda-sensei will attend SDCC in support of the previously-unannounced, all-new BUBBLEGUM CRISIS: COMPLETE ARCHIVE Hardcover Collection, which will debut at the event at UDON’s booth #100.

Kenichi Sonoda is the acclaimed creator of manga that were formative to the North American manga industry, including Gunsmith Cats, Gunsmith Cats: Burst, and Cannon God Exaxxion. He is also beloved for his character and mechanical designs and storyboards for classic anime, including BubbleGum Crisis, Gall Force, Scramble Wars, SoltyRei, and his own Riding Bean. This will be a rare opportunity for generations of fans to meet and get a signature from the creator! Sonoda will be signing for fans for two days of the event, with a different limited-edition shikishi signing board available on each day. This will be a ticketed event with purchase, and final details for these signings will be announced closer to the event.

NYCC 2023: Ghost Machine, a Creator Co-Owned, Cooperative Media Company, Launches at Comic Con

Ghost Machine, a first-of-its-kind creator-owned and operated media company officially launched today at New York Comic-Con. Creators co-own all the characters and universes developed for Ghost Machine, sharing in all publishing, media, merchandise, and beyond. The pioneering creator collective is a global best-of-class roster of artists and writers whose award-winning and iconic works include a who’s who of comic book legends such as Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, The Flash, The Ultimates, Black Lightning and Green Arrow: Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Geoff Johns, Lamont Magee, Francis Manapul, Brad Meltzer, Peter J. Tomasi, and Maytal Zchut. The company plans to announce additional talent in the months ahead, including one major superstar creator. All creators will be exclusive to Ghost Machine for their comics work after completing their already committed to projects.

Oni Press is proud to reveal ONI 2024—a high-intensity first wave of five propulsive new monthly comic series from a wide-ranging cast of award-winning creators and fast-rising stars that will fully embrace the potential of the comics medium to invert, collide, and reinvent the foundational genres of horror, science fiction, crime, fantasy, and beyond throughout the new year . . .

NYCC 2023: Winx Club Flying In

Ahead of its 20th anniversary (2024), the magical world of Winx Club is set to enchant fans all over again at this year’s New York Comic Con with exciting new launches and a glimpse of the magic to come!

NYCC 2023: Z2 Rocks with GWAR, Halestorm & More

Z2, the multiple Eisner-winning and Ringo-winning independent publisher of graphic novels, is set to raise their fist in celebration of their music creators this October at New York Comic Con with plans to host multiple signings at their booth, debut new titles, and participate in panels.

Z2 Comics will invade New York Comic Con in October with an array of talent appearing in support of current and upcoming graphic novels. While days and times are yet to be finalized, among those confirmed include Halestorm, GWAR, Alan Robert of Life Of Agony and Dee Snider of the legendary Twisted Sister.

NYCC 2022: Good Omens Season 2 to Debut Summer 2023

Meghan Lee is running through New York Comic Con soaking up all the geek-loving every booth has to offer, and in between her hunt for newsworthy fun, she takes breaks sitting in on panels for her favorite TV and movie projects! This morning offered some precious moments with Neil Gaiman and the cast of Good Omens as they discussed the highs and pitfalls of exploring heaven and hell's legions. In attendance were Douglas Mackinnon, Rob Wilkins, Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya, Quelin Sepulveda, and, of course, Neil, himself.

New York Comic Con Reveals Sneak Peek at 2021 Programming

ReedPop, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events, today announced its sneak peek of blockbuster in-person programming for New York Comic Con, taking place at the Javits Center in New York City on October 7-10, 2021.

Following the recent expansion of the Javits Center, New York Comic Con will be increasing its footprint at the convention center with new panel stages, including the return of the Empire Stage as NYCC’s signature stage. Programming highlights on the Empire Stage include two panels with the cast and crew from fan-favorite STAR TREK: DISCOVERY on Saturday, October 9th and a special screening of new series STAR TREK: PRODIGY on Sunday, October 10th. NYCC will also see the return of the Comedy Central block panel on Friday, October 8.  

SDCC 2020: Image Comics Programming

Image Comics is pleased to participate in Comic-Con@Home—a virtual alternative to the usual San Diego Comic-Con festivities hosted by Comic-Con International in light of COVID-19. Mondo Joins the Comic-Con@Home

Mondo is excited to unveil their plans as part of Comic-Con@Home, the virtual San Diego Comic-Con convention. Featuring online panels with Mondo creative directors and artists, daily product drops and sneak peeks at upcoming collectibles, apparel, and soundtracks, the five day celebration of the year’s biggest geek event will take place at home from July 22 - 26.

NYCC 2019: WarnerMedia Brings Original Programming from TBS, TNT and truTV

The best of comedy, wrestling, sci-fi and satire will grace the stages of New York Comic Con this fall with programming from TBS, TNT and truTV. Talent from the likes of Jennifer Connelly and Jameela Jamil to The Tenderloins, Samantha Bee, Steve Lemme, Kevin Heffernan and Chris Jericho is a mere taste of the faces and entertainment that will celebrate and fuel the fan experience.

NYCC 2018: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Activities

Nickelodeon will bring together voice cast members, series co-executive producers and special guests on a panel at New York Comic Con 2018 to talk about what fans can expect from the reimagined animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Throughout the convention, attendees can also experience one-of-a-kind activations at its booth (located in the Crystal Palace).

SpaceExpo is a rather unique section of LBCC where you can stick your head in a real space suit, conduct experiments with scientists or hear about the latest findings to set your brains ablaze. Geekery and Nerdery join forces this weekend! There's also an event called Burger Con on Saturday night with bands that are triggering a massive buzz across the music loving nations. FUN FOR ALL!!
