The CORALINE x CONVERSE Collection

Converse and LAIKA are inviting fans to step back into the “Other World” and celebrate the 15th anniversary of the beloved stop-motion fantasy film, Coraline. The Converse x LAIKA partnership, back with its second collaborative collection, is introducing footwear for all ages as well as apparel inspired by the film’s imaginative and haunting world. 

Coraline, a critically acclaimed film about a young girl who discovers a secret world behind a hidden door, has captivated audiences since its 2009 debut. Its exploration of themes such as individuality and self-discovery make the character and the film a natural fit for collaboration with the Chuck Taylor All Star—a beloved shoe long heralded as a cultural emblem of self-expression.  

Laika and Fathom Set CORALINE Limited Return to Theaters for Halloween

After a summertime return to theaters that grossed over $53M in global box office, LAIKA’s acclaimed 2009 stop-motion animated film Coraline returns to theaters for a special Halloween engagement starting on October 31st. In partnership with Fathom in the US and Trafalgar Releasing internationally, the film is offered in stunning, newly remastered 3D as well as 2D formats. 

In addition to the U.S., the Halloween engagement of Coraline includes the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Austria, and Ecuador with more territories to follow. France and Italy will also begin their Coraline 15th Anniversary engagements this November. 

Fans attending Coraline will be treated to an early glimpse of LAIKA’s upcoming film, Wildwood.  

Newly Remastered 3D CORALINE Heading To Theaters

LAIKA proudly celebrates the 15th Anniversary of its acclaimed 2009 stop-motion animated film Coraline — returning it to theaters around the world in newly remastered 3D for a special limited engagement starting August 15 through partnerships with Fathom in the US and Trafalgar Releasing internationally.  The film will also be available in 2D format.

Toy Fair 2023: Kidrobot Debuts Life-Size Coraline Doll!

Kidrobot is excited to reveal a brand-new addition to its Coraline collection: the Coraline with Button Eyes Life-Size Plush Doll. At 5 feet tall, this premium plush is not only the largest item in Kidrobot’s Coraline collection but the largest item available for order on Kidrobot.com. Coraline stands a foot taller than the largest figures in the Kidrobot Art Giants Collection, including the iconic 4-foot Dunny Art Sculpture.  

SDCC 2017: NECA Announce LAIKA Lineup

The National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA), an entertainment conglomerate and global leader in licensed consumer goods, has signed a deal to produce a multi-category lineup of LAIKA merchandise. NECA will arrive at San Diego with an exclusive for Comic-Con® Coraline Display Box for sale and will be promoting the high end bespoke replicas of LAIKA’S hero puppets from its four Oscar®-nominated films: Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012), The Boxtrolls (2014) and Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). The deal was brokered by licensing agency Striker Entertainment, which represents the rights to the LAIKA library of legacy and future films.
