Hot Toys 12 inch action figures are, as yet, untouched by all comers in quality, likenesses, accessories and general "more bang for your buck"..as well they better be for the starting price! Fuck, if NECA charged over $100 for each figure, I bet you the damn things would walk you home. Not to take away anything from Hot Toys...but you get my meaning. For the newbs, when you buy a Hot Toys 12 inch figure, you can be sure to get alternate hands, a wide array of accessories, a stand, some if the best fitting cloth clothing you've ever seen on a toy and amazing sculpting and paints. Many a fan has been spotted petting a Hot Toys box in the middle of Comic-Con.

Just in time for my birthday!!! (also known as 4 days of Nomad love.) When last we visited the mind blowing dark magic sculptures we call Hot Toys 12 inch action figures, it was to show off Loki with a recap of the rest of the crew revealed to date. Black Widow has already been given some love in the Iron Man 2 line, but when you are ultra perfectionists, you don't stop until you have a perfect team (which we all hope means Coulson is on the way!!!). As you spoiler eating, pop culture devouring news hounds probably already know...but for the regular folks who don't visit the mega sites, Iron Man 3 is shooting as we speak!
We saw these at New York Comic Con and tried to get an update every month since then, but as that often works out in the toy biz, we didn't hear back or even see pre-orders...til now when the suckers just started showing up in stores! Our excellent customizer buddy Hunter Knight Customs got the drop on a Florida Walmart when a fresh case arrived...which is most likely the only way any of us are going to see a full set of these suckers as Hulk is 1 per case...as is Loki, Hawkeye and Thor. Only Iron Man and Captain America are two per case, so unless Walmart does something crazy like operate as if they want our money and stock these WALMART EXCLUSIVE figures in force, those of us in scalper rich environments will either have to hunt harder or just pretend they don't exist! Sadder still, there is no Black Widow for the set and Hasbro has announced no plans to make one.
