Toy Fair 2016: Full Details on LEGO's Captain America: Civil War Sets

Sometimes there are news items that are have already been explored by the uber fans, but can be unfamiliar to the average person with geeky interests. LEGO's Marvel Super Heroes Captain America: Civil War building sets could be counted among these topics. Still, reporting on new news as it drops sometimes means you get bits of the story a little at a time, and so those that pop in later can combine all those bits into a fairly comprehensive report. Today, Idle Hands forms Voltron with all the bits and pieces of info around the inerwebs to show you a fairly complete picture of these new Marvel LEGO sets, complete with eye candy and a run down of all the features you'll want to explore when you tear your boxes open on release day.

Black Panther Pursuit (76047) - Fire the jet's stud shooters at Winter Soldier as he speeds away on his motorbike. Dial up high-speed action with Captain America's 4x4. Fire the 4x4's spring-loaded shooter and throw Captain America's shield at the jet flying above! Will Black Panther capture Winter Soldier or can Captain America help him to escape?

Target winter soldier's motorbike with the black panther jet's 2 stud shooters. Set also includes captain america's 4x4 with a spring-loaded shooter and 3 minifigures.

Includes 3 minifigures: black panther, captain america and winter soldier. Fire the 2 stud shooters of the black panther jet which also features an opening cockpit for black panther. Captain America's 4x4 features a spring-loaded shooter, big wheels and translucent headlight-style elements. Do wheelies on winter soldier's motorbike which features a minifigure seat and translucent light-style element.

Weapons include winter soldier's gun. Accessory elements include captain america's shield. Also includes a comic book!

Black panther jet measures over 1" (4cm) high, 9" (23cm) long and 6" (17cm) wide. Captain America's 4x4 measures over 2" (6cm) high, 4" (11cm) long and 2" (6cm) wide. Winter soldier's motorbike measures over 1" (3cm) high, 2" (6cm) long and under 1" (2cm) wide.

Crossbones’ Hazard Heist (76050) - Crossbones has stolen a case of dangerous toxic material and stored it in a container on the truck. Team up with Black Widow and Falcon to stop him. Give chase on Black Widow's bike and use her batons to deflect shots from the truck's stud shooter. Fly into action with Falcon and detach the Redwing drone. Explode the container, attach the case to the drone and return it to safety!

Dodge crossbones' truck's 2 stud shooters, activate the explode function and reclaim the toxic case element. Set includes 3 minifigures, redwing drone and a bike.

Includes 3 minifigures: crossbones, black widow and falcon. Crossbones' escape truck features big wheels, a removable roof with 2 stud shooters and handlebars for a minifigure to hold, rear storage space with explode function, storage container, toxic case element, plus crossbones decoration. Remove the escape truck's roof and use it on the ground as a gun station.

Detach the redwing drone from falcon's back and use its clip to pick up the biohazard case element. Do wheelies on black widow's bike which includes a baton holder. Weapons include crossbones' fire gun with a translucent fire element, falcon's 2 guns and black widow's 2 batons.

Also includes a comic book! Crossbones' escape truck measures over 4 (11cm) high, 5 (13cm) long and 2 (7cm) wide. Redwing drone measures over 1" (3cm) long, 2" (6cm) wide and under 1" (1cm) high. Black widow's bike measures over 1" (4cm) high, 2" (7cm) long and under 1" (2cm) wide.

Super Hero Airport Battle (76051) - Join forces with Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and Agent 13 to help Winter Soldier escape in the awesome Quinjet. Enter the air traffic control tower through a tiny hole with Ant-Man to explode the boxes in front of the tower. Push the lever in the second-floor office to explode the walls. Explode the luggage cart to send suitcases flying, then transform Ant-Man into Giant Man to take on Iron Man! Flip out the wings of the Quinjet to take off and deploy the hidden stud shooters.

Escape in the stud-shooting quinjet from the airport featuring a control tower with 2 explode functions. Includes 6 minifigures and a buildable giant man figure.

Includes 6 minifigures: captain america, winter soldier, scarlet witch, iron man, war machine and agent 13, plus an ant-man microfigure and a buildable giant man figure. Air traffic control tower features a visual control room with a swivel chair, second-floor office with computer screen element and opening cupboards and exploding wall function, first-floor room with opening side door and exploding boxes function activated by pushing the ant-man microfigure through a tiny hole in the wall, plus an attached fence. Turn the switch on the quinjet to reveal the hidden stud shooters underneath. The quinjet also features an opening dual cockpit, foldout wings for flight and landing modes and an opening rear hatch with a rope for a minifigure to grab onto. Activate the explode function on the rear trailer of the luggage cart to send 3 suitcase elements flying!

Pick up a minifigure with the giant man figure which features posable head, arms and legs. Weapons include winter so ldier's gun and war machine's shoulder-mounted stud shooter and baton. Accessory elements include captain america's shield, scarlet witch's power studs and iron man's power element. Also includes a comic book!

Air traffic control tower measures over 10" (27cm) high, 9" (23cm) wide and 3" (8cm) deep. Qinjet measures over 3" (9cm) high, 7" (20cm) long, 12" (31cm) wide in flight mode, and 7" (19cm) wide in landing mode. Luggage cart measures over 1" (4cm) high, 6" (16cm) long and 1" (3cm) wide. Giant man figure stands over 5" (14cm) tall.
