Dancing with Ghosts, the life-sim about finding joy from grief from legendary game developer Greg Johnson’s HumaNature Studios, launches its Kickstarter campaign with the reveal that GRAMMY-winning musician Genevieve Goings will contribute a track to the game.
Genevive Goings first worked with Greg Johnson on ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth. Those recording sessions led to the creation of Choo Choo Soul, which became a hit Disney Junior series and live touring show with two decades of performances. Additional musical guests will be revealed throughout the campaign.
Campaign rewards include an inspirational sticker pack, and exclusive enamel pins for those who back in the first 24 hours. All backers can purchase a memorial stone to honor those in their lives who have passed, which they can put flowers on in game, and have the name of the person float up when they pass by.
The Kickstarter campaign will help Greg Johnson, who successfully crowdfunded ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove, finish his game inspired by personal tragedy and the culture and traditions of his Thai family.
Playing as Mai, a teenage girl who lost her parents, work to help the ghost Pim recover her memories. Earn good Karma by helping the residents of a Thai river village with their lives, inspired by the Thai practice of thamboon.
