SDCC 2015: Hot Toys 1:6th Scale Madness at Sideshow's Comic-Con Booth

Somewhere in New Jersey, NO PANTS COMIC-CON HAS BEGUN! This is the part of the show where I sit at my computer, with no pants on, awaiting the avalanche of news and images from the Idle Hands crew, with wiggly fingers of wanting and a jealous squinty eye. Thankfully, folks like Raymond over at Hot Toys are keeping me busy while I wait for the rest of the world to wake up and start newsing it up. Here's their report from Preview Night at San Diego Comic-Con 2015...

The largest annual entertainment and comic event, San Diego Comic-Con, is officially starting on Thursday! Hot Toys has once again partnered up with Sideshow Collectibles (booth #1929) and have brought a number of brand new collectibles to San Diego for fans to see!

The new installment of the Star Wars series will arrive in cinemas in December, and to anticipate the continuation of the Star Wars legacy, Hot Toys has created an extremely detailed 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit along with an imperial TIE Fighter! Also to celebrate 2015 is the year Marty McFly has travel to in Back To the Future Part II, the new prototypes of the 1/6th scale Marty McFly and DeLorean Time Machine are also shown for the first time worldwide!

The ground-breaking 1/6th scale Hulkbuster VS Hulk diorama, the newly revealed Maria Hill, and the team of Avengers: Age of Ultron collectible figures are also displayed for the first time in North America! With Marvel’s latest superhero hit, Ant-Man, landing in theatres across the globe starting next week, Hot Toys has also showcased the 1/6th scale collectible, Cosbaby, and Artist Mix Figures Designed by TOUMA of the movie’s two main characters, Ant-Man and Yellowjacket!

In addition to the large spacecraft from the epic Star Wars saga, the newly unveiled prototypes of the 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper disguise, Princess Leia, Return of the Jedi Boba Fett, and a 1/4th scale Stormtrooper are also a big attraction for Star Wars fans!

Brand new prototypes of Shotgun (Mark XL) from Iron Man 3, and other popular licenses such as the Endoskeleton from the newly debuted Terminator Genisys, the classic 1960s Batman, Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong from the hit video game Resident Evil 6, and the new Raiden (Inferno Armor Version) from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are also shown at the big event for fans to enjoy!

During the Preview Night, many fans have already arrived at the booth and take pictures of all these amazing Hot Toys collectibles, so don’t miss out and remember to come to booth #1929 to check them out in person!
