In T-minus twenty days the GUNDAM CARD GAME will launch at Johnson Space Center in Houston, home of NASA’s Mission Control Center and the perfect backdrop for the world premiere of BANDAI CARD GAMES’ brand-new trading card game (TCG) based on the global hit anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam.” BANDAI CARD GAMES staff and executives will host an invited audience comprised of press, influencers, and retailers for an immersive GUNDAM experience showcasing the new card game. Guests at the special world premiere event will be among the first to ever play the new GUNDAM CARD GAME—before the North American launch of its Edition Beta product in January 2025, and well ahead of its full global release later that year.

The GUNDAM CARD GAME is a trading card game in which players use Mobile Suits and Pilots based on the “Mobile Suit Gundam” franchise in card battles. Rules are provided for both Standard Play (1 vs 1) and different multi-player options such as Team Battle (2 vs 2) and Battle Royale (3 or more players, no teams). Each deck totals fifty cards made up of four different card types (Unit, Pilot, Base and Command), which players use to battle each other. Pilots can be paired to Units to increase their power, while Bases defend your Shields, and Commands provide powerful one-time effects. Revealed to the public last month during the BANDAI CARD GAMES Next Plan Presentation livestream event, the GUNDAM CARD GAME will release globally in 2025 and simultaneously available in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. This December, BANDAI CARD GAMES will release an early version, the GUNDAM CARD GAME Edition Beta (MSRP $69.99), as an introduction to the game that fans can purchase either at the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 24-25 or an Edition Beta TCG+ Store Trial Event.
