Since debuting at the Hong Kong Toy Expo in 2004, the Dunny has evolved from a simple vinyl figure into a canvas for global artists, sparking a creative revolution that has captivated collectors and pop culture enthusiasts worldwide. To honor the milestone, Kidrobot is unveiling the Tristan Eaton 20th Anniversary Dunny Collection, created in partnership with one of the Dunny’s original visionaries.
“The Dunny is interesting because it launched so many artists’ careers. The early series really put a lot of artists on the map and allowed them to launch their careers into exhibitions and their own toys they were designing, beyond the Dunny,” says Eaton. “A lot of beautiful stories came out of that, but it also created a generation of art collectors who were collecting Dunnys and then went on to collect paintings and more. So, no other toy is like the Dunny because of that history and culture it created.”

To celebrate the anniversary, Kidrobot will be at DesignerCon 2024 in Las Vegas November 15–17, premiering the crown jewel of Kidrobot’s 20th Anniversary Dunny Collection: The Dunny Head 12” Art Figure - “Crown Jewels,” designed by Tristan Eaton.
This stunning piece isn’t just a collectible—it’s a tribute to two decades of Dunnys impact on the art world, launching careers, sparking creativity, and fueling a global community of creators and collectors. With only 300 pieces made, each is a rare testament to the iconic Dunny’s legacy.
Both the Black & Gold and White & Silver editions will also be available for online pre-order starting Friday, November 15 at kidrobot.com.
Kidrobot will also be revealing the 20th Anniversary Monochromic Dunny 8" Art Figure by Tristan Eaton. On Saturday, November 16, Tristan Eaton will be at the Kidrobot booth to sign limited edition lithographs, offering fans a unique opportunity to meet the artist and celebrate the legacy of the Dunny.
