NECA's Toony Terrors vs Scooby-Doo: Pennywise's Funfair

We are under TWO WEEKS away from the second chapter of the modernized IT horror saga hitting screens across the US and Pennywise merch is about to be EVERYWHERE...if it's not already! NECA's Toony Terrors action figure line kicks off with not one but TWO versions of the clowny creep from down the pipe in their first series. Today, we take a long, unflinching look into the Deadlights of the classic Tim Curry Pennywise from the made for TV IT movie. With his seemingly innocent clown costume coupled with a fairly menacing look on his face, classic Pennywise is the perfect adversary for the Scooby gang...so Daphne is on deck!

Penny-Tim's extra baggy clown pants rule out any leg articulation and thankfully, the figure is well balanced, as there is no ankle swivel either. What's left are shoulder swivels, wrist swivels and a ball jointed head. His collar inhibits a lot of the potential head movement, but you can still turn his head and get a little up and down tip before it pops off.

Paints are nice and tight on this figure, with colors that really pop and a matte finish that helps with that cartoony feel. Penny-Tim comes with a balloon accessory attached to a bendy wire to give it a floating effect. A tiny hole in his left hand is meant to house the wire but you'll have to make it a weeee bit bigger to make that work.

NECA's Toony Terrors are shipping as we speak and have already hit plenty of stores across the globe. At $12.99 a figure, how can you pass them up??
