The SDCC audience was granted an exclusive debut of the all-new Energon Universe trailer, which showcases just how shared the shared universe is becoming this fall with the introduction of an epic new series. The ensemble cast thrilled the 6,500 fans who packed the massive convention center hall by unveiling a brand-new exclusive trailer for the upcoming season. Invincible executive producer Robert Kirkman announced the season four renewal for the series, which is co-produced by Skybound Animation and Amazon MGM Studios. The series recently received its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for Sterling K. Brown. Hazbin Hotel, from A24 and Bento Box Entertainment, has been renewed for a third and fourth season, which was announced by executive producer Vivienne Medrano. The Sausage Party: Foodtopia second season renewal was announced during the panel via video by executive producer and star Seth Rogen and executive producer Evan Goldberg. The series is a co-production of Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon MGM Studios.

At the VIZ Media panel, thrilling news was unveiled that “Rooster Fighter,” everyone’s favorite cock created by Shu Sakuratani, is now in production for an anime adaptation. The story follows Keiji, a rooster with superhuman strength, as he defends the world from giant monsters known as “Demons.” With its high-octane action and comedic scenes, “Rooster Fighter” is one mother-clucker who delivers a showstopper. The series broadcast partner will be Adult Swim, with additional streaming partners to be announced.

‘Longlegs’ is not a bad movie by any measure. It’s beautifully filmed. Every shot seems to have been meticulously arranged which, in a visual medium, at this point in history especially, is absolutely necessary. We can consider every inch of every frame we are presented with and that is no small task. The film's atmosphere is what people are taking with them, along with a career-best for producer and star, Nicholas Cage. In a role that could have been another typically whackadoo Cage outing, he transforms in a way that I don’t think we’ve seen from him before.
