On Friday, July 24, Amazon MGM Studios skipped ludicrous speed and went straight to plaid in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con as the cast and filmmakers of SPACEBALLS: THE NEW ONE sat down for a galactic panel. Following a heartfelt and hilarious video message from the legendary Mel Brooks, moderator Kevin Smith welcomed stars Daphne Zuniga, Keke Palmer, Lewis Pullman, Josh Gad, director Josh Greenbaum, and screenwriters Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit to the stage.

NYCC 2025: Mortal Kombat II Promises Brutal Fights, Bigger Stakes, and Karl Urban Swagger

BEWARE! SPOILERS AHEAD! 

Fans stepping onto the Empire Stage at New York Comic Con didn’t just get a sneak peek at Mortal Kombat II, they were immediately transformed into Johnny Cage, as each attendee was given a pair of signature sunglasses that matches the hero’s snarky and overly-confident character. It was one of the coolest giveaways of the weekend and it set the tone for a panel that delivered knockout reveals, heartfelt cast moments, and one seriously wild exclusive clip.

The panel was led by none other than Ed Boon, the legendary co-creator of the Mortal Kombat video game series, who brought both nostalgia and energy, trading stories with the cast and crew, while teasing the audience with potential spoilers for the upcoming film.

NYCC 2025: Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Team Reflect on Season 3 Finale & What’s Next

As The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon heads toward its Season 3 finale this Sunday, October 19, on AMC, fans can expect both closure and more questions left unanswered. Speaking during a packed press conference at this year’s New York Comic Con, series star Norman Reedus joined executive producers Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, and David Zabel to reflect on the show’s current seven-episode season and offer a glimpse into the fourth and final chapter of Daryl’s journey through post-apocalyptic Europe.

AMC recently confirmed that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will return for a fourth and final season, bringing to a close one of the most visually and emotionally ambitious entries in the Walking Dead universe. But before that curtain falls, this weekend’s finale promises to deliver both resolution and revelation.

NYCC 2025: Prime Video Debuts Invincible Season Four Teaser Trailer

Today, Prime Video debuted the fan favorite Burger Mart-inspired teaser trailer for Season Four of Invincible at the packed New York Comic Con panel with over 4,500 enthusiastic fans in attendance. Voice cast members Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, and co-creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman revealed the highly anticipated teaser trailer, which announced the critically acclaimed adult-animated superhero series co-produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, will return in March 2026.

And word of a new trailer this Monday! Edgar Wright's re-imagining of the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger action bonanza took the stage with star power and all the scifi goodness a crowd at New York Comic Con could ask for. 

In a near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television—a deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward. Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. But Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite—and a threat to the entire system. Mondo Toys made a big splash with the debut of its all-new 1:6 scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line, reimagining the heroes in a darker, grittier universe that blends Elseworlds-style storytelling with premium collectible craftsmanship. Each figure features interchangeable accessories, swappable body parts, and a striking balance of realism and nostalgia. Mondo’s creative team described the series as part of a new storytelling and world-building initiative, set in a re-envisioned TMNT universe where the Turtles face off against Shredder, Krang, and Mouser in a gritty cityscape.

The panel gave fans a first look at upcoming releases from Transformers, G.I. Joe Classified Series, and The Real Ghostbusters, highlighting Hasbro’s ongoing mission to blend nostalgia with next-generation design.

NYCC 2025: Joseph P. Illidge Brings Illuminous and More to Comic Con

With a career built on intention, legacy, and forward-looking storytelling, Joseph P. Illidge heads to New York Comic Con 2025 as a driving presence all weekend—meeting with peers, connecting with press, attending marquee events like The ICv2 Insider Talks: The New World of Comics on Thursday, October 9, and The Harvey Awards on Friday October 10, and engaging in conversations that extend beyond the convention floor. At the center of his spotlight are Bloodletter, two high-profile Kickstarter projects, and his ongoing mission of Illuminous.

Illidge is the co-writer of Bloodletter, alongside Tim Seeley (Revival, Hack/Slash) and artist Christian Rosado (Vampirella, Skull and Bones: Savage Storm), a supernatural thriller in the Spawn Universe from Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions. Expanding Spawn’s world with espionage, mythology, and blood-soaked secrets, the series reaches its climax on October 15 with Bloodletter #5, the explosive finale that delivers the ultimate confrontation with Al Simmons and leaves the Spawn Universe forever changed.

NYCC 2025: Overpower Rising at Comic Con

Lazarus Rising Games (LRG) continues its 2025 showcase tour of the surging collectible card game OverPower with a spotlight panel and highly interactive booth at New York Comic Con over the October 9-12 weekend in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Entitled “OverPower Rising: Bringing Skybound, Top Cow & Edgar Rice Burroughs to CCGs!,” the panel will take place on Friday, October 10 from 2:45-3:15pm on the Community Stage of Hall 1E. Attendees will get an inside look at the current evolution of the popular CCG of the 1990s and 2000s, driven by a small group of players of the original game who bonded together to purchase the company and reinvigorate the game. Today, they are currently producing new sets that include hot pop culture IPs like Skybound (e.g. The Walking Dead, Invincible), Top Cow (e.g. The Darkness, Witchblade, Cyberforce) and Edgar Rice Burroughs (e.g. Tarzan, John Carter), and utilizing the stellar artistry of comics superstars including Phillip Tan, Marc Silvestri, Joe Jusko, Jae Lee, Adam Kubert, Casey Parsons, Jon Lam, Ito and more.

Psychological thriller Mala makes its public debut with a spotlight panel at New York Comic Con – the first-ever Indian-themed panel in NYCC history – on Saturday, October 11 from 11:00am-12:00pm in Room 409 of the Javits Center. The Indian mother-daughter producing team of Indigo and Nisha Sabharwal headline the panel of cast and filmmakers, which will include a revealing discussion of the indie frightener, the first film clips to be exhibited in public, and exclusive giveaway items to all fans attending the panel.

AMC Networks announced today its lineup at this year’s New York Comic Con, including panels for fan-favorite series in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and a celebration of Shudder’s 10th Anniversary. Fans will get an exclusive first-look at scenes and teasers from Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order, premiering October 26, Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, debuting next year, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which is currently airing Sundays, all on AMC and AMC+. Additionally, attendees will celebrate Shudder’s 10th Anniversary with two exclusive panels featuring new and upcoming Shudder films and series.
