GUNDAM CARD GAME Set to Launch on December 8

In T-minus twenty days the GUNDAM CARD GAME will launch at Johnson Space Center in Houston, home of NASA’s Mission Control Center and the perfect backdrop for the world premiere of BANDAI CARD GAMES’ brand-new trading card game (TCG) based on the global hit anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam.” BANDAI CARD GAMES staff and executives will host an invited audience comprised of press, influencers, and retailers for an immersive GUNDAM experience showcasing the new card game. Guests at the special world premiere event will be among the first to ever play the new GUNDAM CARD GAME—before the North American launch of its Edition Beta product in January 2025, and well ahead of its full global release later that year.

SDCC 2024: Zoop Unveils Their Comic-Con Schedule

KessCo is excited to finally share more details about their second Sonic The HedgehogTM tabletop game, Sonic Speed Battle, officially licensed by Sega® of America. This dynamic game channels the spirit of Sonic AdventureTM 2 Battle, offering three quick and fun card games for two to four players. The game will be arriving first at Barnes & Noble both in-store and online in Summer 2024, followed by a wider retail release online at Target and Amazon.

Discovery Global Consumer Products, today announced the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for the Adventure Time Card Wars 10th Anniversary. Fans can pledge now on Kickstarter.

Based on the “Card Wars” episodes of Cartoon Network’s Emmy and Peabody Award-winning animated series, Adventure Time, the Adventure Time Card Wars tabletop games from Cryptozoic have been hugely popular with fans in the last decade, spawning over 10 product releases. The campaign brings together all six original packs into the new Adventure Time Card Wars: Ultimate Collection featuring nearly 500 game cards, with new game content to be unlocked during the campaign. Mike Grell's "SHAMAN’S TEARS" Roleplaying Card Game In Development

The Mike Grell Universe is coming back in a big way: on the heels of the announcement of a scripted audio fiction podcast adapting and continuing the original 1990’s Image Comics series, creator Grell and Pocket Universe Productions (PUP) will partner with Zombie Orpheus Entertainment to develop and produce a Shaman’s Tears RPG Card Game. The game and fiction podcast will be funded simultaneously through a forthcoming pair of crowdfunding campaigns in late summer and fall, with both product and production to be released in the first half of 2024.

Shaman’s Tears dealt with issues of identity, heritage and the environment. Joshua Brand, the son of a Lakota father and an Irish mother, returns to the reservation he ran from as a young man, only to discover that he has been chosen to bear the mantle of protector of the Earth itself when he inherits the powers of all animals as the spiritual avenger Stalking Wolf. Soon after Brand finds himself at odds with a rogue scientific organization usurping nature with human/animal hybrids known as The Blood, their experiments hitting closer to home in ways he never imagined.

Live on Kickstarter.com, and being shown for the first time at New York Toy Fair, Anchorman: The Game - Improper Teleprompter is an adult party game from Barry & Jason Games and Entertainment based on Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's hit comedy, which also stars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, and a host of other comedians.

The game is inspired by Ron Burgundy's susceptibility to read whatever is written on the teleprompter, no matter how strange or inappropriate. Players compete by sabotaging other anchors' news stories with ridiculous magnetic words and phrases to try and get them to laugh while reading the news.

The movie, Igniting the Spark, The Story of Magic: The Gathering, will explore the game’s history, explosive growth, and enduring popularity.

Magic: The Gathering, the world’s most popular strategy card game, was created by mathematician Richard Garfield in 1993 and is published by Wizards of the Coast (Dungeons & Dragons), a subsidiary of Hasbro.

The Magic: The Gathering franchise has more than 38 million fans in over 70 countries. Over the years, Magic has evolved from a niche card game into a world-wide phenomenon boasting international tournaments, ever-expanding sets, and enthusiastic collectors.

NYCC 2018: Cryptozoic Street Fighter, Rick and Morty, DC Comics Collectibles & More

The exclusive figures include the newest Golden Goddess collectible and variants of figures from Cryptozoic’s most popular lines, including DC Lil Bombshells, DC TeekeezTM, DC Pumps, and CryptkinsTM. Cryptozoic Bringing Games from Rick and Morty, DC Comics & More to Gencon 2018

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, today announced that it will showcase current and upcoming games at Gen Con, August 2-5 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

At Booth #601, Cryptozoic will demo and sell limited pre-release quantities of several of its highly anticipated upcoming games, including Rick and Morty: The Pickle Rick Game, Pantone: The Game, DC Spyfall, DC Deck-Building Game: Crisis Expansion Pack 4, and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Panic at the Pleasure Palace. In addition, it will sell Million Dollars, But… The Game before its release in partnership with Rooster Teeth on August 8. The company will feature many of its recent releases as well, such as Rick and Morty: The Ricks Must Be Crazy Multiverse Game and Wallet. Finally, it will conduct several tournaments and preview releases for later this year, like Cult: Choose Your God Wisely.

Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, announced the release of the Batman: The Animated Series Almost Got ’Im Card Game. The 5-8 player social deduction game is based on the classic “Almost Got ’Im” episode of Batman: The Animated Series in which Gotham City’s most infamous rogues play poker and tell stories about almost defeating Batman, not knowing one of them is actually Batman in disguise. Players take on the roles of various DC Super-Villains of the Caped Crusader, one of whom is secretly Batman. The action centers around participants gathering the poker cards needed to activate special abilities. The Super-Villain players use their abilities and guile to try and figure out which of them is Batman, while the Batman player tries to defeat the Super-Villains before they discover his or her identity.
