Remastered PARANORMAN Returns to Theaters this October

LAIKA’s delightful second film will re-release in newly remastered 3D and 2D formats as part of the studio's year-long 20th Anniversary celebration. Originally released in 2012, ParaNorman was hit with critics and general audiences alike, garnering multiple awards including Oscar®, BAFTA® and Golden Globe nominations, as well as multiple ANNIE Awards®. Black Ink Presents, a division of Terrapin Station Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment, today announced its next live-to-film production that resurrects Sam Raimi’s beloved cult classic in a way audiences have never seen before -- in this lifetime. Evil Dead In Concert (www.evildeadinconcert.com) launches September 22 in Buffalo, New York as screams meet strings in 50 cities this fall, including a special three night event in Los Angeles for Halloween. The screening of the legendary cult film in a newly restored format is brought to life on stage while a live ensemble performs the entire original musical score from composer Joe LoDuca. The moving and intimate documentary is a look at the life and final performance of stage and screen actress and David Lynch collaborator Catherine Coulson.

Weeks after David Lynch announced the return, 25 years later, of his 1990 groundbreaking TV series Twin Peaks, Catherine, best known as the iconic Log Lady, learned she had terminal cancer. Not wanting to disappoint Lynch, her fans and her cast, Catherine struggled to live long enough to play the part of the Log Lady one more time before her own death days later. "The show must go on”.

CLONE COPS Replicates in Theaters & VOD January 31

Freestyle Digital Media has announced the official release of the sci-fi action comedy Clone Cops. The nightmare tech-comedy is the feature directorial debut of Danny Dones. Clone Cops tells the story of an alternate future where a gang of outlaws must defend their lives against an assault from the hottest product on the market -- a disposable police force cloned in a lab and programmed for violence. The gang battles waves of replicating security forces until they discover a shocking secret about who they are and what they're up against. 

Clone Cops will open theatrically in select markets Friday, January 31, including Los Angeles, New York City and Nashville, for weeklong runs. The same day, audiences across North America will be able to rent or own Clone Cops on Cable VOD and Digital HD, including Apple TV, Prime Video and Fandango at Home.

The five-star, sold-out Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare’s MACBETH starring David Tennant and Cush Jumbo that continues to dazzle audiences and critics during its West End transfer can be experienced by audiences in movie theaters beginning February 5.

English Dub OF “Dragon Ball DAIMA” In Theaters November 10, 11 & 12

This November, Toei Animation and Fathom Events will present the world English dub premiere of the highly anticipated new series “Dragon Ball DAIMA” as a three-day, limited release, which has now been expanded to include both the United States and Canada and will screen exclusively in more than 1,000 theaters locations during its November 10 - 12 run. Moviegoers will be treated to a special introduction by Japanese actor Masako Nozawa, the voice of Goku, that can only be experienced in theaters.

Yellow Veil Pictures is excited to return to the Fantasia International Film Festival for the world premiere of Elric Kane's debut solo feature, the obsessive and lust-driven thriller The Dead Thing. The Dead Thing will premiere July 26th as part of the 2024 edition of Fantasia with an encore on July 28.

The Dead Thing is directed by Elric Kane (host of the Pure Cinema podcast and Fangoria's Colors of the Dark podcast) from a script he co-wrote with Webb Wilcoxen. The film is produced by Matt Mercer (Contracted, Bliss) and Monte Yazzie, with Colors of the Dark co-host Rebekah McKendry (Glorious) serving as executive producer. Yellow Veil Pictures is handling worldwide sales.
