Marvel TV Into 2025

There's been a very noticeable slowdown in the amount of Marvel media content thrown to us by our Disney lord and masters. Most likely the underperforming of certain films caused higher-ups to apply the breaks a bit. Sometimes you just need to take a couple of steps back and reassess. And so they did. And we felt it. You go from being a spoiled comic book reading kid with three Marvel films a year and at least 2 TV projects to gobble up...to..whatever this sorry existence is!!! Yes, I am being dramatic, but if Marvel doesn't hurry their asses up, I'll be watching my first X-Men movie when I celebrate my 70th birthday. LET'S GET CRACKIN!!

Nickelodeon Greenlights "My Weird School" Movie

Nickelodeon Studios today announced the greenlight of My Weird School, an all-new feature-length movie based on the book series by New York Times best-selling author Dan Gutman. The movie will follow middle school student A.J. as he finds himself joining forces with faculty and friends to save the world from an alien invasion. NYCC 2024: TRACTION PARK MASSACRE Trailer Premieres

Fresh from their panel at this year’s New York Comic Con conference, Terror Twins, LLC has shared the official trailer for the upcoming feature film, “Traction Park Massacre,” which premiered over the weekend at Fangoria.

NYCC 2024: Nickelodeon's MAX & THE MIDKNIGHTS Makes its Debut

Today, Director Fede Alvarez announced at a special Beyond Fest partnered screening at the Aero Theater in Los Angeles that 20th Century Studios will release the terrifying sci-fi horror thriller, Alien: Romulus, on limited edition VHS December 3. An ultimate movie collector’s dream, the fully functioning VHS tape was created in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the legendary Alien franchise, the box features artwork by renowned artist Matt Ferguson.

Today DC announced the new five-issue comic book series Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly Double Feature! by creators Tim Seeley and Mitch Gerads (on the Vigilante story), and Rex Ogle and Matteo Lolli (on the Eagly story), with James Gunn as story consultant. Set between seasons one and two of Max Original series Peacemaker, the comic will give fans and readers a taste of where the hit television show will go in 2025…with two of its fan-favorite characters!

Horrible History: Four Historical Epics on Blu-ray

Eureka Entertainment announces the Dec 10th release of Horrible History: Four Historical Epics from Chang Cheh (Marco Polo, The Pirate, Boxer Rebellion, and Four Riders) on Blu-ray in a two-disc set.

The Limited Edition set (2000 copies per territory) will exclusively featuring an O-card slipcase and collector’s booklet. 

Often described as the “Godfather of Hong Kong Cinema,” Chang Cheh made nearly a hundred films during a long and storied career spent at the Shaw Brothers Studio, where he directed such landmark films as The One-Armed Swordsman, Five Deadly Venoms, and The Heroic Ones. Many of his films drew upon Chinese history for inspiration – and many of them were based on real people and events. NYCC 2024: New Star Wars: Jedi Knights Comic Series Announced

NYCC 2024: Shudder Previews 2025 Film Slate

Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, previewed its highly anticipated 2025 film lineup during a special panel at New York Comic Con 2024. The event, titled "Shudder is here to Scare the S*** Out of You," was led by Shudder’s VP of Programming, Samuel Zimmerman, and featured a distinguished group of horror industry talents including actors David Dastmalchian and Devon Sawa, musician and director Flying Lotus, actor and director Kate Siegel, and director Tina Romero.
