Toy Fair 2017: Character Group on Doctor Who

Continuing our Toy Fair 2017 coverage, we hop back over to M@ Hawkins who had a fairly quick visit with Character Group in search of the newest in Time Lord accessories, weaponry and icons (aka ACTION FIGURES!!) From the look of Character's compact display (which was not bigger on the inside), one might assume the company is winding things down with the license? Maybe we are jumping to conclusions, but it's worth a discussion. Let's take a look at what was on hand and see if our tentative assumption isn't warranted...

SO! We've got the re-release of the 10th Doctor's TARDIS Console Room Electronic Playset (which really is an excellent set packed with details and lights and sounds and loads of fun. I've even used it as an Iron Man Hall of Armors launch platform!) Two versions of the 12th Doctor action figure and a 10th Doctor action figure for your playset. We've got a "Personalize Your Sonic Screwdriver Set" that allows you to swap parts from (presumably) your favorite Doctors' most versatile, evolving device, The 12th Doctor's 2nd Sonic, A "Journal of Impossible Things" pack and we got a peek at a 10th Doctor's Sonic as well, but were asked not to photograph it.
