Sugar Cookies is a Hitchcockian thriller set in the adult film world. Movie producer Max (George Shannon, Indecent Behavior) is into extreme and dangerous games. When one of those games goes too far with model Alta (Lynn Lowry, Shivers), Max covers up her death, so the police rule it a suicide. Alta’s lover Camilla (Mary Woronov, Rock ’n’ Roll High School) sets out for revenge after realizing justice will not be served.
Camilla soon finds Julie (also played by Lynn Lowry), and grooms her into a new version of Alta, making her irresistible to Max. Will the producer attempt his deadly game once more with the new girl in this erotic variation of Vertigo? The cast also includes Monique von Vooren (Andy Warhol’s Flesh For Frankenstein), Ondine (The Telephone Book), and Reid Cruickshanks (Fletch).
Sugar Cookies was directed and co-written by Theodore Gershuny (Silent Night, Bloody Night). Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman co-wrote the script and served as executive producer, and the film’s associate producer was Oliver Stone (Platoon, Natural Born Killers).
