KAYOU, China’s No. 1 collectibles company and one of the world’s fastest-growing collectible trading card brands, took San Diego Comic-Con by storm with an unforgettable debut, bringing the biggest fandoms to life while celebrating every facet of trading card culture alongside thousands of superfans and collectors over four action-packed days.
During San Diego Comic-Con, fans were among the first to preview and get their hands on KAYOU’s newest collectibles, each designed to bring them closer to their favorite stories and characters. From sold-out card signings and early shoppable releases to fully claimed promo card giveaways, cosplay meetups, card pack battles and other hands-on activities, superfans experienced the thrill of trading cards as a new way to celebrate the fandoms they love.
Superfans proved they were “Here for KAYOU,” turning out across all three KAYOU destinations – the Interactive Zone at Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center and Tito Rick’s Garage – to join in on the action:
- ● Star-Studded KAYOU Card Signings: tokidoki co-founder and artist Simone Legno and My Little Pony voice actor Andrea Libman signed KAYOU cards featuring their iconic characters, posed for photos and created unforgettable meet-and-greet moments for fans.
- ● Onsite Professional Card Grading: Fans lined up at the TAG GO trailer to have their trading cards professionally graded using TAG’s proprietary computer vision, advanced imaging and precision-scoring technology
- ● Becoming a Custom KAYOU Card: Through the KAYOU x TAG SDCC-exclusive photobooth experience, fans transformed themselves into custom KAYOU trading cards inspired by the worlds of My Little Pony and Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters
- ● The KAYOU Superfan Passport: Superfans eagerly embarked on a citywide KAYOU adventure, visiting all three destinations to collect passport stamps that unlocked exclusive rewards
- ● Shopping the KAYOU Collection: Fans snapped up sought-after early releases at two destinations: a feature shop inside the San Diego Convention Center in partnership with The Shumi Company, and the Official KAYOU Store inside the Interactive Zone at Petco Park
- ● Offsite Fan Meetups and Trading Events: KAYOU teamed up with Tito Rick’s Garage to create a local community hub, where fans and collectors could connect, trade, learn to play the MY LITTLE PONY Trading Card Game and celebrate their favorite fandoms
KAYOU’s newest product releases and collaborations were on display for the first time, giving fans and collectors an exclusive sneak peek at what’s coming this fall and into 2027:
- ● KPop Demon Hunters Mini Cards & Card Accessories reimagine the card collecting experience with new and fun-sized ways to discover, trade and showcase fandoms. Fans at SDCC were among the first in the world to shop KAYOU's first-ever mini collectible trading cards and select card accessories, both featuring Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, before they come to retail in fall 2026
- ● Winx Club Trading Cards & Collectibles: This new collaboration welcomes another globally beloved fandom into the KAYOU universe. The collection brings exclusive content and story-inspired designs to life, giving fans new ways to celebrate the enchanting world of Winx, coming in fall 2026
- ● Hari&Hacci: KAYOU’s first designer toy collection blends designer art, collectible culture and everyday self-expression. Arriving in 2027, it brings a colorful “twin stars” friendship to life through vinyl plush, mini blind boxes, accessories and other lifestyle products
- ● Visitors also stepped inside The KAYOU Walls of Fandom to get up close with the artistry behind KAYOU’s beloved cards and immerse in the worlds behind them, from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters to MY LITTLE PONY, NARUTO and tokidoki
And the fun is only getting started. San Diego Comic-Con gave fans a first taste of what KAYOU is bringing to the U.S., with more fandoms, collectibles and exciting new ways to collect still ahead. In the coming months, fans can look forward to even more opportunities to discover new cards, chase their favorites, trade with fellow collectors and celebrate the characters they love.
