Gameloft, a global leader in multiplatform game development and publishing, in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., is excited to announce the arrival of PAC-MAN™, one of gaming’s most iconic franchises, into Asphalt Legends through a limited-time in-game event running from August 18 to September 15, 2026.
This special collaboration transforms the Asphalt experience with a nostalgic arcade-inspired takeover featuring exclusive content, brand-new gameplay mechanics, collectibles, and dedicated audiovisual assets inspired by the original PAC-MAN™ universe.
At the heart of the event is the Hunter Mode, a brand-new game mode created exclusively for this collaboration. Inspired by PAC-MAN™’s classic gameplay loop, pilots will race while being pursued by four ghost cars inspired by Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde. By collecting pick-ups across the track, players can increase their score and progress through the event.
But the action changes once a Power Pellet is collected: Hunter Mode activates, the ghosts switch to escape mode, and players can turn the tables — chasing and eliminating them to earn bonus points and extend their run.
The collaboration also introduces a dedicated 28-days PAC-MAN Spotlight featuring the Porsche 718 Cayman PAC-MAN™ Edition, alongside exclusive PAC-MAN™ -themed decals available on selected vehicles including the Arrinera Hussarya 33, Nissan R390 GT1, and TVR Griffith.
Additional event content will also include collectible Pac-Dots, Power Pellets and Cherries, custom UI and HUD elements, official PAC-MAN™ sound effects, and exclusive themed rewards such as emojis and a club icon.
