For the first time ever, Academy Award–winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, has authorized and granted unprecedented access to journalist and author Jay Glennie to write the making of three of his classic films beginning with The Making of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood. The comprehensive coffee table book will be released on November 11 by Insight Editions. The Story Factory's Shane Salerno concluded the three-book deal with Insight and the next two books in the Quentin Tarantino Library will explore Inglorious Basterds (already completed) and Django Unchanged (being written now), and will release in 2026 and 2027. Tarantino will write the introductions for each book. Glennie is set to write large scale, deep-dive books for all ten of Tarantino's films, the nine he has made and the one that is forthcoming which Tarantino has announced as his last.

Disney Kills Star Wars Expanded Universe...?
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."
Die hard fans expected this, but to actually (sort of ) see it in print is another thing all together. The children of Han Solo and Princess Leia..Shadows of the Empire..the many adventures of Dengar..Boba Fett paling around with the Sarlac Pitt...gone in the blink of an eye with one Tweet, possibly ending the existence of all Star Wars Expanded Universe stories.
A website with the amazing name TheHothSpot caught this story as the question was asked and answered via Twitter. Is the goal to have one cohesive universe (under Disney's direction)? Leland Chee, Continuity Database Administrator (aka keeper of the stories and where they fit in) for Lucasfilm Story Group answered "That's definitely a primary goal".
