Toy Fair 2023: Diamond Select Lord of the Rings

Due to some health complications impacting my ability to work all day, every day for a week and not fall asleep in the GUND booth, I bowed out of this year's New York Toy Fair coverage...but NEVER FEAR!! Meghan Lee and Jonathan Kolton hit the floor on day one with a truck load of enthusiasm and the desire to hug all plush. Diamond Select was jam packed with pop culture collectibles, as per usual. Every year, their level of detail, paint applications, and execution go up a level, but their prices remain extremely competitive and easy on the wallet! We kick off Toy Fair 2023 coverage with Diamond's Lord of the Rings line, including 7-inch scaled action figures and PVC statues. 

The Mandalorian Gallery Diorama Debuts at Disney Stores

This is the way! As the world counts the minutes until The Mandalorian Season 3 begins, Diamond Select Toys has teamed up with the Disney Store to offer a dynamic PVC sculpture of the show’s star. It’s the first-ever Star Wars Gallery Diorama of the Mandalorian, and it’s in stores and online now!

Depicting the Mandalorian, Din Djarin™, in his beskar™ armor, this approximately 10-inch sculpture shows him soaring skyward powered by his jetpack, supported by twin columns of smoke. He is also wielding his target-obliterating Amban™ phase-pulse blaster, making him a highly mobile force to be reckoned with.

Diamond Select's DC Comics & TV PVC Statues

Diamond Select Toys’ Gallery line of PVC dioramas is expanding into new worlds! After exploring the worlds of DC animation and DC television, the Gallery has found a home in the DC comics universe! Capturing the comic-book looks of DC’s greatest heroes and villains, each 9-inch PVC diorama is sculpted in the 9-inch scale, with varying heights depending on pose and environment. Featuring dynamic designs and scintillating sculpts by today’s greatest artists, and the first few in the line are available for pre-order through your local comic shop or favorite online retailer!
