Roald Dahl’s The Witches Remake Trailer is Live

From Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis (“Forrest Gump”) comes the fantasy adventure “Roald Dahl’s The Witches.”  The film stars Oscar winners Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérable,” “Ocean’s 8”) and Octavia Spencer (“The Help,” “The Shape of Water”), Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci (“The Hunger Games” films, “The Lovely Bones”), with Kristin Chenoweth (TV’s “Glee” and “BoJack Horseman”) and award-winning comedy legend Chris Rock.  Newcomer Jahzir Kadeem Bruno (TV’s “Atlanta”) also stars, alongside Codie-Lei Eastick (“Holmes & Watson”).

Reimagining Dahl’s beloved story for a modern audience, Zemeckis’s visually innovative film tells the darkly humorous and heartwarming tale of a young orphaned boy (Bruno) who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis.  As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort.  Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans.

FOX's Rock Horror Picture Show Gets a Teaser Trailer

Now that most of us have seen the stills and yelled things like "Do they get why Frank being a gorgeous woman doesn't work? No..no definitely not" and "WHY IS MAGENTA'S HAIR MAGENTA?!", FOX has released a quick teaser via Facebook so we can put voices to those pretty, pretty faces, gawk at moist undergarments and most importantly, hear Laverne Cox do an awesome Tim Curry impression. E3 2015: Final Fantasy 7 Returns... Heads Explode

Not knowing much about the insane world of video games means very little when your entire feed on both Twitter and Facebook goes BERSERK with women absolutely losing their damn minds and men declaring their bodies...were just not ready. Die hard fans have been waiting nearly a decade for a remake of Final Fantasy 7 and now, in the middle of the biggest video game conference on the planet, THEIR TIME HAS COME!

As you can see, the new film promises to be a meaner, crazier, more visceral animal. Bruce Campbell himself, when I inquired as to how violent the new film was going to be, asked me what I thought about a Nail Gun and a whooooole lot of nails? The trailer confirms an iconic possessed hand, plenty of demonic activity and even alludes to TREE RAPE!! What more could you ask for? Evil Dead promises to mirror those moments you love while presenting the entire experience in a whole new light. "Fucked Up" seems to have been the magic phrase while shooting! I can't wait for more.

There was no manscaping, skinny jeans, emo haircuts, half caf lates, neckerchiefs, bling, and the only time you saw a fist pump was right before said fist connected with your jaw. These were MANLY times when people smelled funny...not because they wanted to...but because they HAD to.
