And the Earth belched and split open, spilling liquid hot magma upon the once lush field of daisies, and from this newly formed chasm emerged a dark figure...crawling...scratching...snarling. Pulling itself onto two monstrous legs and lifting its mutated head toward the heavens to curse a vengeful god it bellowed just ..one..word. GWARRRRRR!!! And then I went to see them play with the Dickies once, spur of the moment, in some abysmal place like Connecticut or DELAWARE and I swear they used fruit juices instead of the usual tasteless fake bloods and we tasted each other as the streams soaked us to our ragged bones. And it was a good night. Anyway, Trick or Treat Studios are FINALLY making the GWAR action figures we deserve and they were on display at NY Toy Fair 2025...

Day one of Toy Fair 2023 is in the books and we've got a TON of toy reveals to go through. While Meghan and Jonathan are sorting through mounds of pictures and video, we'll make a dent in the "official pictures" pile so you see all the shiniest plastics from every angle. 

Trick or Treat Studios used to blow us away with a little booth full of high quality latex masks, perfect for the adult who has chosen to make EVERY DAY Halloween! Now they consistently blow our hair back with action figures and collectibles based on movies and licenses only the most die-hard of horror fiends could identify on sight. Who else would create toys from the weirdest movies we love to death? Basically, they are doing the lord's work. Let's kick off this creep parade...

Trick Or Treat Studios on Killer Klowns

Despite the average horror fan's boundless love for sadistic, homicidal clowns in film, books and comics, an unforgettable film titled KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE still remained merely a "cult classic" with little merchandise to speak up. SOTA Toys, and then AMOK TIME, respectively, celebrated this alien circus of death with half a smattering of action figures so sought after that their current price tag is a bit more than a kick in the pants. Then, inexplicably, Spirit Halloween introduced a prop gun, masks, statues, and some more bits and bobs, sending us running to every nearby location to try and gobble up the lot. Even MEGO got in on the action, but still, something was missing....until now!
