“Labyrinth is one of those films that has only become more beloved with time, and Ludo represents so much of what makes the film special,” said Joshua Viola, Bit Bot co-owner. “There’s something immediately endearing about him, but he’s also an incredible example of the creature artistry that defined Jim Henson’s work. We wanted to create something that feels faithful to the character and gives fans a chance to have a little piece of that magic in their own collection.”
Ludo has remained a fan-favorite character and Bit Bot brings him to life in a mask sculpted and hand-painted by Oktober Studios to capture his distinctive features. The finished piece is designed to be worn or displayed as a bust-style collectible. Only 250 pieces will be produced worldwide. Each mask will also include an exclusive collectible 4x6 Ludo art print by Brazilian comic book artist and illustrator Walter Pax, who has created iconic covers for Adventure Time, Bill & Ted Go To Hell, Dread The Halls, and Regular Show.
The Ludo latex Mask will retail for $175 and is scheduled for release this fall. Pre-orders are now available via the official Bit Bot store.
