Happy Halloween, spooky kiddies! We're going to turn up the creeps a notch to celebrate, along with some of our friends who create fantastic monsters you can capture and call your own. We'll get things started with FUNKO, who always put a little extra bite into their most spine-chilling releases.
Many of us who consume copious amounts of horror content as adults were introduced to the darker side of life through the pages of R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS books! In every tale, vulnerable children were left to their own devices to battle otherworldly terrors that were JUST scary enough to leave an impression, but not terrifying enough to scar us for life. Thanks, Mr. Stine!
In the Goosebumps book titled "Say Cheese and DIE!", children discover a high-tech-looking camera that allows the user to photograph disastrous future events that then unfold before their disbelieving eyes. What all that has to do with the book's cover, which features a joyous skeleton cook-out on a sunny day, is beyond me, but it always brings a smile to my face! Here's FUNKO's rendering of that infamous book cover as a Pop! Vinyl Figure!
More to come as we celebrate our favorite time of the year! Thanks to FUNKO for providing this POP! Vinyl Figure for our coverage.
