As we quickly approach October and the high holiest of holidays, we'll be throwing all of our friend's horror projects at you so you are sure not to miss any awesomely creepy things! One such creep is Emilie Black, photographer and great supporter of the horror community. In recent years, Emilie has been seeking ways to express her more monstrous side and include her horror industry friends in her hijinks. Thus, her calendar series was born! Last year’s debut calendar was carried at Dark Delicacies in Burbank and online in various locations, so there were no problems getting your horror fix. Australia’s MONSTER FEST Opens Submissions for Features, Shorts and Expanded Cinema Projects

Monster Fest has announced that submissions are now open for Features, Short Films and Expanded Cinema Projects, with an Early Bird Deadline of April 29, a Regular Deadline of June 3 and a final, Extended Deadline of August 12, 2016.

Australia’s premier festival of cult, horror and the fantastic, Monster Fest returns for its sixth edition November 24-27, 2016at the Lido Cinemas in Melbourne, with support from Screen Australia.
