Catagrams is Out of the Bag

If you’re in need of some relaxation, you’ll be happy to hear that Catagrams has landed on the App Store and Google Play. The game is FREE and features beautiful drawings, a hearty challenge, and a seriously chill atmosphere :)

Some felines in Catagrams enjoy adventure and world travel, while others prefer snoozing on a sleepy summer day. Picture frames abound, but there are missing pieces! Players are tasked with matching threads and creating words – unlocking hand-drawn illustrations and fashionable accessories for each cat. “Daily Puzzles,” which are included in the base game, keep things fresh and are sure to challenge even the sharpest (clawed) of wordsmiths.

University Games' Godzilla 3D Crystal Puzzle

University Games is set to make a footprint in stores with the thunderous introduction of its all-new Godzilla 3D translucent color puzzle. In its licensing agreement with Toho Co., Ltd, University Games created its 7” Godzilla puzzle as its most intricately sophisticated crystal puzzle in its already successful line of traditional and licensed 3D Crystal Puzzle lines.

90's Marvel Universe Card Art Returns

Sensing the immense love fans are giving anything that calls back to their very geeky childhoods, European company Game Office is releasing a series of "Nano Puzzles" featuring art from the 90's Marvel Universe card series from Impel. For those who don't go ham on collectibles of any sort, I'll clue you in that over the Covid shut down, and still (largely) today, the market on most 80's vintage toy lines went through the roof, along with several card series that were very nearly worthless prior to this bump. Impel's first series Marvel Universe card series got a significant kick in the pants and still remains in the triple digits for a complete set, with holograms. Most likely noticing this trend, licensors are taking full advantage!

Toy Fair 2020: Revell Introduce Top Gun, Iron Maiden and New Star Wars Model Kits & 3D Puzzles

Generally, when you look up toy fair news coverage, you don't see a lot of model kits. This is not necessarily the fault of the outlets, but it's assumed we are all looking for licensed products from mega popular comic books, movies and TV shows. ONLY HALF CORRECT!! Yes, we do all we can to provide coverage of the most popular stuff out there, but we also take care to keep our eyes open for new innovations and companies we've never heard of. Often....they don't include model kits. Honestly, if they are on the show floor somewhere, I've not seen them. In the UK, it's a different story! Revell are always welcoming and since their level of detail is amazing, shooting their products is a no-brainer. When they surprise us with licenses we never thought of before...like...say...an Iron Maiden "Aces High" Spitfire Fighter Plane with a tiny Eddie Pilot...then we are the happiest xtra large children in the world.
