Top Shelf Weaves SciFi into a Fairytale with IONHEART

Imagine a colorful dystopian world where everyday appliances are traded as magical currency and a time-traveling knight becomes the hero to save the world! This is IONHEART, the english-language debut from German creator Lukas Kummer from award-winning independent publisher of graphic novels Top Shelf Productions (IDW Publishing). This ambitious, atom-smashing book combines trace elements of everything from Tintin to Blade Runner to Adventure Time to The Dark Tower into a deadly breakthrough: intricate, explosive, and entirely new – IONHEART is set to release August 19, 2025.

Legendary journalist Hunter S. Thompson's genius was rooted in his ability to blend reality with fiction, serious cultural analysis with madcap escapades, astonishing words with unforgettable images. In that spirit, and in proud partnership with the Thompson estate, Top Shelf Productions is pleased to announce Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, a delightfully bonkers graphic novel by Eisner-nominated artist Troy Little adapting Thompson's book of the same name.
