The First Hercules Teaser Trailer
Ignore the vintage 80's title font. Ignore the silly shout at the end of the trailer. Ignore how odd The Rock looks with a beard. Just be happy there are actually MONSTERS in this particular Hercules film, unlike the last one, which looked like a young adult romance mixed with Gladiator. Of course, I'm not speaking from experience, not being a fan of YA films (ignore my forced Twilight reviews) and NOT having seen the previous film. Just making that clear. That is blind dislike, and I own it. For this particular Paramount picture, I have medium sized hopes. I do enjoy watching The Rock thump things...and I do enjoy monsters..but I also have flashbacks of the vacuous "Clash of the Titans" remake and the film marker's disdain for the cinematic magic that came before (ie; my Harryhausen youth) ..so I am hesitant. Cautious...and hesitant.
