Billy Zane Addresses His Army of Heartbroken 14 Year Old Fans

As is the ever spinning cycle of pop culture, fad and fashion, what was once popular may still yet return. Such is the case for mega cult film star Billy Zane whose unforgettable films like The Phantom and Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight won him the hearts and minds of millions of dedicated fans across the globe. Now it seems Mr. Zane is experiencing the resurgence in popularity that he so richly deserves! Screaming, squealing, somewhat angry and absolutely heartbroken teen and pre-teen girls have taken to the internet to show their undying love and support of Zane. This unprecedented spike in popularity can't be tied to any new projects announced as Zane's last 9 projects are still listed in various states of pre or post production and "Zombie Killers: Elephant's Graveyard" has not quite reached the level of instant cult classic status we had previously thought it might. Still, the endless tweets speak for themselves! Here's Billy Zane graciously reading some of them for his adoring public...

Cap'n Crunch's Late Night Talk Show

....I couldn't be more serious.

Cap'n Crunch is dropping anchor after years at sea in order to explore new horizons -- specifically, the launch of an all new, late-night talk show online. "The Cap'n Crunch Show," an animated series of webisodes aimed at adults, debuted its teaser today (click here to view) with nine future episodes set to air every other Tuesday throughout the spring and summer on YouTube at 11:35 p.m. EDT.

Ghostbusters : Kind of Dicks

I love the movie Ghostbusters and didn't realize how much until we attempted to watch it this Halloween. I knew every damn word. That can get pretty obnoxious, so I fought the urge to say them along with the film. Being a part of one of the first websites (Dread Central, natch) to report on the possibility of Ghostbusters 3, you might imagine I've been keeping an eye on things and waiting with hope that what comes of it is actually GOOD and funny, at the very least. Today, Funny or Die gets in on the hype, creating a world where the boys in grey run through the streets, unchecked, busting lost childhood pets, your beloved gran gran and even the soul mate who didn't make it out in that horrible JiffyPop fire of 96. NO GHOST IS SAFE. Why? Cuz bustin' makes em' feeeeeel gooood...
