The Legend of Korra In Concert

Following the worldwide success of Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Paramount, GEA Live, and Senbla today announced The Legend of Korra In Concert, a new live-to-picture orchestral experience that brings the acclaimed animated series to life on stage, combining live music with cinematic visuals. The U.S. tour to more than 20 cities will launch in Omaha on January 10, 2027, concurrent with a European leg to 10 cities beginning January 31. The tour coincides with the 15th anniversary of The Legend of Korra, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 2012. The announcement arrives just ahead of next week’s San Diego Comic-Con. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 17, and are available through www.legendofkorrainconcert.com.

Paramount Unveils New “WORLD OF TMNT”

The heroes in a half shell are ready to take fans on their next big adventure! Paramount+ today released the official trailer for Season 2 of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) – the hit animated series from the universe of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem – and it’s just the beginning of an all-new era for the franchise.

NYCC 2025: NICKELODEON Celebrates 20 Years of AVATAR

Toy Fair 2025: NICKELODEON Announces AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS + Last Airbender Anniversary

Nickelodeon is continuing the mythology and adventure of the beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender with Avatar: Seven Havens, an all-new series from creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. Set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the original 26-episode, 2D-animated series centers around a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar. The news was announced today by Ramsey Naito, President, Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation.

NICKELODEON Reveals Trailer - Images - Date for THUNDERMANS: UNDERCOVER

Nickelodeon today revealed the trailer, first-look images and the premiere date for The Thundermans: Undercover, a brand-new spinoff series based on characters from the original live-action show. Premiering on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, the half-hour series follows Phoebe and Max as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent. The Thundermans: Undercover will air regularly Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and will roll out internationally on Nickelodeon channels later in the year.

Nickelodeon Greenlights "My Weird School" Movie

Nickelodeon Studios today announced the greenlight of My Weird School, an all-new feature-length movie based on the book series by New York Times best-selling author Dan Gutman. The movie will follow middle school student A.J. as he finds himself joining forces with faculty and friends to save the world from an alien invasion. Production on My Weird School begins in Vancouver, Canada this month, and will stream day-and-date on Paramount+ and air on Nickelodeon channels around the world. Premiere details will be announced at a later date.

NYCC 2024: Nickelodeon's MAX & THE MIDKNIGHTS Makes its Debut

Nickelodeon’s Max & the Midknights creator, voice cast, and co-executive producers gave fans at New York Comic Con a first-look at the CG-animated series, Max & the Midknights, which makes its television debut on Wednesday, October 30, at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series received an initial pick up of 20 episodes across two seasons, with season two (10 episodes) premiering in 2025.

Appearing together for the first time, the voice of Max, Blu del Barrio (Star Trek: Discovery), and the voice of Simon, Zeno Robinson (Transformers: EarthSpark) were joined by creator and best-selling author Lincoln Peirce and co-executive producers David Skelly and Sharon Flynn on a panel. A surprise for fans attending the panel, the voice of Kevyn, Caleb Yen (Beyblade X), also joined the group onstage. Together the panelists shared insight into the development and creation of the show.

NYCC 2024: Nickelodeon Celebrates 25 Years of Spongebob Squarepants

Nickelodeon continues to celebrate the landmark 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants with an immersive experience at its booth that pays homage to the iconic first episode of the world’s most famous yellow sea sponge at New York Comic Con 2024. During the four-day convention, Nick’s booth on the convention center floor (#1523) will re-create and transport fans into the “Help Wanted” pilot episode with 3D-animation, augmented reality (AR) and replicas of SpongeBob’s pineapple home and The Krusty Krab.

Patrick Star of Spongebob Squarepants Gets His 1st Ever Video Game

Outright Games, the leading publisher of family-friendly interactive entertainment, under license from Paramount Game Studios, have officially revealed first details of their upcoming video game, The Patrick Star Game, starring SpongeBob SquarePants' best friend, Patrick Star. Developed by PHL Collective,  and announced at the August 2024 Nintendo Direct, this single-player, sandbox game is set in the iconic world of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants and lets fans play as everyone's favorite pink sea star, Patrick, in his first-ever starring adventure. The Patrick Star Game will be released on 4th October 2024 and will be available to play on PlayStation 4®, PlayStation 5®, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender Trailer Drops

Second time's a charm!! ..Sorry to remind you of that last one. At the very least, the collective lust of the internet for Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai has proven Netflix has chosen the right path!

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. The four nations once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world. With the current incarnation of the Avatar yet to emerge, the world has lost hope. But like a light in the darkness, hope springs forth when Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Air Nomad — and the last of his kind — reawakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar. Alongside his newfound friends Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Katara (Kiawentiio), siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a fantastical, action-packed quest to save the world and fight back against the fearsome onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). NICKELODEON Introduces Rock Paper Scissors

Inspired by the age-old tradition of settling things with your best friends, the game comes to life through the shenanigans of pals Rock, Paper and Scissors in Nickelodeon’s new animated series Rock Paper Scissors, premiering Monday, February 12, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. As the first short picked up for series from Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts Program, new episodes will continue to air weekdays at 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT) and internationally later in the month.

Mattel, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Debut Trailer for Monster High 2

Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT), Nickelodeon and Paramount+ today revealed the trailer and premiere date for Monster High 2, the sequel to the live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monster High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. Monster High 2 will be available to stream in the U.S. on Paramount+ Thursday, October 5, and premiere on Nickelodeon that same day at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), with encores every weekend in October as part of the Monster Movie Madness stunt. The movie will also premiere later in the month on Paramount+ in select international markets where the service is available, with other international territories premiere dates to be announced later this year.

Monster High 2 follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) as they enter sophomore year at Monster High. The power of three is put to the test as they face even bigger challenges this year—new students, new powers, evolving friendships, and an even bigger threat that could not only tear their friendship apart, but could change the world forever. The movie will also introduce new character Toralei (Salena Qureshi), a feisty British were-cat, back after a year abroad in Scaris, France.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM Final Trailer & “I Like Turtles” Video

Less than one week til our re-imagined Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hit the big screen for some Mutant Mayhem on August 2nd! So far, advanced reviewers are oddly quiet, but they may have the almighty embargo blocking their thoughts. Still..HIGH HOPES and at the very least, holding out for a green hero who is goofy as hell and an overall fun movie. THAT SAID, Nickelodeon, masters of all things Turtle Power, have released the final trailer for the feature film and an additional video simply titled "I Like Turtles". ....If you know...ya know...

After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them. 

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER Digital & Vinyl Album Score Out November 2023

Nickelodeon and Republic Records: Kids & Family will immerse fans in the Avatarverse with the long-awaited release of “Avatar: The Last Airbender – Book 1: Water (Music from the Animated Series)” on digital and vinyl. The album, featuring an updated and re-recorded score from the first season of the iconic series, is now available to pre-order and will be released in November, with the first single, “Aang Becomes Ocean,” releasing on Friday, July 28, 2023.

SDCC 2023: NICKELODEON Acquires Original 87' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series

In advance of the Paramount Pictures release of the brand-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem theatrical film, exclusively in theaters on August 2, Nickelodeon is expanding the beloved franchise again with the acquisition of the original 1987 animated Fred Wolf TMNT series (193 x 22-min episodes, 1987-1996).

Under the deal, Nickelodeon has acquired global rights to the storied series, which follows the adventures of the beloved characters—Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo—as they battle the Shredder, Krang and other villains and criminals. The series is slated to debut digitally later this month in the U.S., followed by Nickelodeon branded channels and digital platforms internationally.
