Shaun of the Dead Steelbook
Everybody say ARRRRRG for 20 bloody years of SHAUN OF THE DEAD, the greatest zom-com ever made. To celebrate, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, Focus Features and Studiocanal have partnered with director Edgar Wright to remaster the movie in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. Fans can own the remastered version on digital and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and access a new, never-before-seen bonus piece featuring Edgar Wright along with stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Hours of existing bonus will also be made available for the first time on participating digital platforms, including Apple TV, Movies Anywhere, and Fandango at Home.

Shaun of the Dead Interactive Screenplay

As the final film in Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy speeds toward its August 23rd release, we take a moment to look back at the previous 2 films in all their fence jumping glory. Today, Focus features gives us an in depth look at the creative process behind Shaun of the Dead...the movie that proved horror can be funny again...and not in that "Haha you suck so much we are laughing at you" kind of way. With brilliant writing, superb comedic timing and solid, very realistic characters just trying to survive amid a zombie apocalypse, this movie has gone on to be a cult classic..and one of my favorites. Hit THIS LINK to dive into the Shaun of the Dead Interactive Screenplay!

Universal Unleashes New Licensees for Back to the Future, Scarface & More

When a major company like Universal doles out licenses to manufacturers, they often do it in one big clump. One such clump has just surfaced, so we thought we'd bring you the highlights VIA licensemag.com ...

BACK TO THE FUTURE: Mattel will be making action figures, vehicles and accessories across the planet while Tell Tale Games will shell out interactive games.

PSYCHO: Robies costumes will have Halloween costumes and accessories in the US and Canada. Fingers crossed for a knife that does the stabby shower sound!!

SCARFACE: NECA has the license for Action Figures and accessories across the globe and Denim Street will have new apparel in the UK

SMOKEY & THE BANDIT: Franklin Mint will have diecast vehicles across the US

JAWS: A company called M.A.C will have new apparel in Australia and New Zealand

SHAUN OF THE DEAD: Pyramid Poster will have postcards and posters in the UK and Eire while Aquarius Entertainment dishes out stationary in the same regions

Since Mattel knows full well that Back to the Future is a specialty item, expect them to follow a similar model to their Ghostbusters line (ie; their MattyCollector club selling figures and Mego-esque dolls), with a chance of vehicles at mass retail since Diamond cleared the way for that to happen.
