Westworld Season 2 Gets a Full Trailer & Nirvana Cover
I can't say enough good things about the first season of HBO's Westworld. It wasn't JUST excellent storytelling...it was the conversations the content could start among any group of people. For me, the most important one would be how humans treat each other when they think no one is looking, or under the anonymity of the internet...or worse, the false bravado one gets when you don't have to stand face to face with the person you are confronting. Westworld brings this slice of "humanity" into question with vacationing rich folks doing whatever they please to robots, knowing there will be no repercussions, despite any disgusting acts they commit. It's all fine and good for them...until the robots develop plans of their own.

HBO's Westworld Teaser Trailer
Scared, automatons huddled together in the dark. Forget them. The self aware computer system that decides humanity is the only enemy. Leave it behind. In HBO's Westworld, you reach out to grasp an alternate reality where you are hero, conqueror, lover... but dreams don't always end happily. Chaos yearns to be born. Blood will flow.
Westworld looks to be a TV series with a cast that won't be ignored and a story that will linger in the back of your mind for weeks after watching. Those who like their scifi with a healthy splash of creeping dread...this one's for you!

HBO Orders Westworld To Series
We live in a time of unlikely projects being green lit. It's none the less amazing when something fairly obscure or just plain geek-cult-famous get's the thumbs up for film re-imagining/re-making/prequeling....and even more mind blowing when a network orders an entire season of something based on a killer concept from my past. Today, this has happened...and that image of a cowboy with a robot face forever etched into your brain will now have NEW LIFE....on HBO.
