Bandai Tackles the Video Game Legends of TEKKEN

Gaming is a massive business, and no matter which way the pendulum of good fortune is swinging for the industry as a whole, toy companies have always been there to create little plastic people from your favorite titles. Recently, movies like Sonic and The Super Mario Bros. movie have exploded onto screens large and small, reminding all points of commerce of a simple fact... Once a hit, always a hit. That said, it should have come as no surprise when Jada Toys began releasing their Street Fighter action figure line, and following close behind is Bandai with a new figure series called GAME DIMENSIONS!

"Bandai GameDimensions is a series of 6.5-inch scale figures for gaming fans. The characters are sculpted to look like they were taken straight out of the game, and with a total of 17 articulation points, you can recreate your favourite game scenes."

Bandai kicks (pun intended) their line off with TEKKEN, or more specifically, TEKKEN 7, which features stunning story-driven cinematic battles and intense duels that can be enjoyed with friends and rivals alike through innovative fight mechanics. The first series features "Kazuya" and "Heihachi", as they appear in TEKKEN 7. 

Kazuya Mishima - Kazuya was raised as the heir of Mishima Zaibatsu, but rebelled against his father Heihachi. After awakening the power of the devil within him, he's finally able to control it.

I will mention that Capcom recently sent around a survey focusing on Resident Evil, asking what we'd like to see from an all-encompassing toy line! Suffice to say, I HAD TONS TO TELL THEM ON THE SUBJECT!! As we rapidly approach San Diego Comic-Con, and then ready our butts for the triumphant return of TOY FAIR, we'll be watching for hints on what digital icons will be dropping next.
