The most annoying question I've ever been asked was "Why do you think Big Bang Theory is funny"? Like this is the moment i'm going to explain why my brain reacted to certain things in any given episode and then justify why that reaction was the "right" one. Can't we just laugh at things? No? Damn, you're harsh. Love it or hate it, Big Bang Theory has outlived most of our favorite geeky TV fair (except for The Simpsons, which is immortal. There can be only one.) But all good laugh tracks must one day come to an end...
