An early preview of the highly anticipated upcoming series Lazarus: Fallen shows that lead character Forever Carlyle is not afraid to get bloody to prove her point. As she sets out to destroy the Families–the wealthy few running this “near future” dystopian world—she’ll need to make allies along the way. Helmed by Eisner Award-winning creators writer Greg Rucka (The Old Guard) and artist Michael Lark (Gotham Central), and colorist Santi Arcas, the New York Times bestselling dystopian sci-fi series Lazarus is returning for a final installment.
Fans of Andor, Silo, and Blade Runner will enjoy this futuristic, and yet prescient, tale about what those in power will do to obtain more power and to silence those in opposition…and what rebels, whether genetically engineered or not, will do to stop them. Along with early preview pages from Lazarus: Fallen #2, a look at the process and cover artwork from the series tease a little of what’s to come soon.

Check out the Red Band Trailer!! I probably don't need to say this, but turn down the volume a bit if you are at work. Many, many curses incoming...

It's funny how life works. I'm no spring chicken, which is to say..I've seen some stuff. The thing that surprised me more in my lifetime (thus far) has been how truly tiny Hollywood is from the inside...and smaller still in the world of horror...and then even smaller when you meet a handful of people you find mutual respect with, check out their friends and realize..all the good people flock together! Such is the case with Slayer, a band I feel like I've been listening to all my life. If a hand hitting a wall in frustration had a soundtrack, Slayer would be playing those chords.
Hardcore Henry is one of the most unflinchingly original wild-rides to hit the big screen in a long time: You remember nothing. Mainly because you've just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back. Who's got her? His name's Akan (Danila Kozlovsky); he's a powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries, and a plan for world domination. You're also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, and everyone wants you dead. Everyone except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley). He may be on your side, but you aren't sure. If you can survive the insanity, and solve the mystery, you might just discover your purpose and the truth behind your identity. Good luck, Henry. You're likely going to need it...

Sure we've gotten a Kratos figure before, and since it was NECA, it was brilliant. Hell, we even got one from DC Direct, so that marks two of the best toy companies on the planet, known for great detail and paints, tackling your favorite blood thirsty god killer. Now Square Enix steps up to make you weep tears of joy.
Kratos from God of War 3 is set to hit this April as part of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line, known to combine excellent sculpting, paints and articulation to create a product comparable to a Hot Toys 12 inch figure..without the doll clothes. Kratos comes in at around 9.5 inches tall and is packed with his Blades of Exile and Claw of Hades as well as a set of extra open hands.
AKA THERE WILL BE BLOOD FOR THE HOLIDAYS! mUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
When he’s separated from the love of his life, Spartacus is forced into the gruesome and bloodthirsty arena, where a grisly death is primetime entertainment. Spartacus must fight for survival, befriend his enemies and play politics in this new world of corruption, violence, sex and fame. He’ll be seduced by power and tormented by vengeance. But his passion will give him the strength to prevail over every obstacle, in this modern and uninhibited tale of death, honor and endurance.
...And that was just season 1.
On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in "Spartacus: Vengeance". Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. Containing all of the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, and villainy and heroism that has come to distinguish the series, the tale of Spartacus resumes in epic fashion. Here's a peek...
After watching this..I feel....this is a chick flick, yes? Lots of burly shirtless men. I also am reminded of a line from one of my favorite TV shows, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, where they say any scene without dialogue was considered for slow motion. Oh yes..there will be CGI blood.
Spartacus: Vengeance premieres on STARZ Friday, January 27th at 10pm ET.
She's a cheerleader (sounds familiar..), she slays monsters (hey, wait a minute..), she wisecracks as she does it (oh, come on now..) AND her primary weapon is a chainsaw!! AH! OK then. Comparison to a certain vampire dispatching teen, thwarted.
Bursting with sex, blood and rock n roll, Lollipop Chainsaw is the "un-deadly" story of a sweet and killer zombie hunter and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw wielding cheerleader.
James Gunn (Slither/ Dawn of the Dead/ Super) was heavily involved in this project, helping to create the characters and flesh out the language of the game. The end result reveals Gunn's signature comedy-stylings up against a backdrop dripping with dismembered body parts. Gunn remarks "Lollipop Chainsaw is the story of young, beautiful zombie-killer Juliet Starling, her sidekick disembodied-head boyfriend, and the entire Starling family of zombie killers as they team up to stop a colossal zombie outbreak. Leading the zombies are a group of zombie rock and roll lords who do battle with Juliet. The game is complete madness, and I love it. Lollipop Chainsaw will be here in the U.S. on XBox and PS3 within the next year." Gunn also teased "Many of the the folks who you see regularly in my films and other projects also have roles to play in Lollipop Chainsaw." If Michael Rooker and Nathan Fillion are on board, you can expect the geek world at large to be following this project closely!
Lollipop Chainsaw is being developed by Goichi Suda AKA Suda51, Grasshopper and Warner Brothers for a 2012 release.

There's a fine line between a movie like Batman where the Dark Knight pummels everything in sight, and Kick-Ass where a little girl takes out the bad guys with ninja like skill and CGI arterial spray. Then there's James Gunn's SUPER, which runs awkwardly into the room past both films and bludgeons you with a staple gun for jaywalking. Take a look, but be warned...this ain't X-Men United...

When the world thinks of plush toys, they think warm happy thoughts of cuddling and overwhelming squishy love which started in their youth. When horror fans think of cutesy little toys, we wonder how cool they would look decapitating the other toys in the dead of night before attacking their owners. 505 Games harnesses that twisted thought into an awesome video game that will help you work out those violent thoughts born of frustration that can not be quenched by any amount of Grand Theft Autoification. Prepare for adorable carnage with NAUGHTY BEAR!!
Global video game publisher 505 Games and developer Artificial Mind & Movement (A2M) today released a new video that reveals the terror wrought against a battalion of Soldier Bears trying to rid the Island of Perfection from Naughty Bear's wrath.
With stuffing frozen mid-flight and bullets stopped in time, the video paints a grisly picture of the destruction caused by one lone bear shunned from society.
Naughty Bear is an action video game featuring a unique blend of comic mischief and shamefully bad behavior. Players will take on the role of Naughty Bear, a bear driven to seek vengeance after the other bears don't invite him to the big birthday party. Scorned for the last time, Naughty Bear becomes hell bent on manipulating and terrorizing the blissful bears inhabiting the Island of Perfection. Featuring an array of weapons, objects and scare tactics, gamers strive to earn Naughty Points as they inflict physical and psychological harm on Naughty Bear's enemies. This all-new scare-based points system means players will win the most rewards for being deviant and maniacal. The variety allows for a completely new experience every time players pick up a controller and the ill-fated bears become more difficult to harass and terrorize as the game progresses.
Not that Tarantino has anything to do with these films, but when he sees the trailers and poster, there will be drooling, I assure you. So..what's to know? Hot girls with ridiculous weapons battling slimy Japanese mobsters. Blood sprays, limbs go airborne and there are boobies. Oh yes, there are boobies. (As to say, the vids below are NOT work safe.) Check out http://www.hunters-movie.com/ for all the info, click the email button and tell Asami that she is your favorite battle cunt. Trust me, she'll love that. NipponCinema helps out with some english plot summaries:
