Amazon's "I Know What You Did Last Summer" Premieres October 15th

Amazon Prime Video announced today that the first season of its highly anticipated Amazon Original series I Know What You Did Last Summer will premiere Friday, October 15 on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes available each subsequent Friday. The series will culminate in a suspenseful, can’t-miss season finale on November 12, 2021.. The eight-episode Amazon Original series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 territories and countries around the world, and is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television.

Annnnnnd we're back into Sweet Suite 2021 coverage! We stumbled across the Cats vs Pickles booth at Toy Fair 2019, completely by accident, and were instantly happy we walked in. The bright colors and endless variations of highly creative cat designs, along with the super cute art style floored us, and this was before we even realized there were pickles too, and the whole line was pretty much based on viral vids showing cats reacting to their mortal veggie enemy. Night of the Animated Dead Rising 10/5

Revisit George A. Romero’s 1968 horror classic in an altogether unprecedented presentation as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Night of the Animated Dead, a new, star-studded animated recreation of the thriller coming September 21, 2021 to Digital and October 5, 2021 to Blu-ray Combo Pack & DVD.

Presented by The Long Game in association with Hemisphere Entertainment, Night of the Animated Dead is an animated adaptation of the 1968 horror classic and includes never-before-seen, exclusive animated scenes not found in the original live-action film. Night of the Animated Dead will be available on Digital, Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $19.99 SRP, Canada $24.99 SRP) and DVD (USA $14.99 SRP, Canada $19.99 SRP). A Clockwork Orange on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital September 21

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today that  A Clockwork Orange, Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 classic dystopian film, will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital on September 21. Adapted from Anthony Burgess’s 1962 decline-of-civilization novel, A Clockwork Orange received four Academy Award® nominations; Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay (Based on Material from Another Medium) and Best Film Editing. 

Directed, written and produced by Kubrick, the film stars Malcolm McDowell as Alex DeLarge, Warren Clarke, James Marcus and Michael Tarn as his droogs, Patrick Magee and Michael Bates.

ComiXology Originals and Scott Snyder’s Best Jackett Press Announce Multi-Title Deal

Scott Snyder is coming to comiXology Originals in a big way. ComiXology’s exclusive content line, comiXology Originals, and Scott Snyder’s publishing company, Best Jackett Press, announced today that Snyder will be writing eight new titles for comiXology Originals. The titles will be made available as digital first releases exclusively on comiXology and Kindle with all eight titles collected in print and released at a later date by Dark Horse Books.

With these new titles, #1 New York Times bestselling writer Snyder is returning to his creator-owned roots and collaborating with some of the biggest artists in comics, including Rafael Albuquerque, Greg Capullo, Francesco Francavilla, Jamal Igle, Jock, Tula Lotay, Francis Manapul, and Dan Panosian. Legendary comics editor Will Dennis is overseeing the titles.

Underworld 5 Movie Collection on 4K October 5th

The eternal battle between vampires and Lycans gets upgraded when the UNDERWORLD 4K ULTRA HD COLLECTION arrives on October 5th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This limited edition gift set marks the first time that fans will be able to experience all five films on 4K Ultra HD disc with High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos audio. The films will also be available digitally in 4K with HDR.

The UNDERWORLD 4K ULTRA HD COLLECTION will include Underworld (both the original theatrical version and the extended cut), Underworld: Evolution, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Underworld: Awakening and Underworld: Blood Wars, as well as hours of SD & HD bonus content across all five films, including the Underworld: Endless War animated shorts.

SDCC 2021: Amazon Releases Wheel of Time Teaser Poster

Amazon Prime Video and Sony Pictures Television today revealed the teaser poster for the upcoming Amazon Original fantasy series "The Wheel of Time. The teaser poster was first revealed during the show’s Comic-Con@Home panel, where showrunner Rafe Judkins’ (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hemlock Grove) also confirmed that the series will exclusively stream on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in November 2021. The full panel can now be seen on SDCC’s official YouTube channel.

The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all-time, with over 90 million books sold. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers.
