NYCC 2014: McFarlane's Next Walking Dead Action Figure Waves

New York Comic Con is at an odd time of year when companies are pitching all their new toys for the foreseeable future to retailers across the globe, but a lot of their releases have already been revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. This means a lot of what you see at NYCC has already been seen..with some exceptions. McFarlane is pushing their construction toy lineup hardcore at the show, dominating most of their display cases. We don't really shoot the sports stuff because..sports..and we've seen the Assassin's Creed and HALO stuff before. That leaves us to pour over the Walking Dead display to see if there is something new we can drool over. SCORE.

Walking Dead TV Series 6  and 7 have been shown, but the pictures were teasers from pre-orders and not so hot. Now we've got the opportunity to see them in full color and they are fantastic! This line continues to improve in sculpt with every wave. Check out TV Series 6 with Rick Grimes, Hershel Greene, Carol Peletier, Abraham Ford, Bungie Guts Zombie and The Governor, and Series 7 with Mud Walker, Carl Grimes, Michonne and Gareth.

  3. Amazing 'Hershel" figure, a good intro to series 6, i love the head sculpt, crutches, and the little customized weapon. in Series 7 they've introduced an improved re-make to us as Hershel with a bandana on his face lining to the virus scene in season 5, and two head sculpts when he get assassinated by the Govenor. I'll send an image later on...
