NECA Reveals MUPPET BABIES Action Figures at D23

When you know it's kinda weird, and you wish that you weren't there, just close your eyes and make believe, and you can be anywhere! Like...in a playroom with a giant set of legs that takes care of you! Muppet Babies is a cartoon series that is burned into my brains for some reason, and apparently, someone at NECA felt the same way because WHO WAS SCREAMING FOR MUPPET BABIES ACTION FIGURES??!! Never saw this coming. 

Toy Fair 2026: Friday the 13th: The Game Products and MORE Are Haunting Toy Fair

Everyone's favorite slasher will be stalking the booths at NY Toy Fair, happening this weekend, February 14-17, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York!

Toy Fair 2023: Dance, Dance, Dance With Your NECA Wednesday Dolls

Today NECA announced a full line of action figures, plush and collectibles to be released in partnership with MGM’s series Wednesday, streaming exclusively on Netflix. Directed by Tim Burton, the first season of the gothic mystery series follows Wednesday Addams as she enters Nevermore Academy. It debuted at #1 globally on Netflix in November 2022, and a second season is in production.

Toy Fair 2023: NECA's Pee-Wee Herman Celebration

At the opening of the International Toy Fair in New York today, NECA announced a full line of action figures and collectibles celebrating the most famous character of the legendary late comedian Paul Reubens. The Pee-wee’s Playhouse line was in development in 2022 under the creative direction of Reubens himself and will see release under the guidance of his estate.

Pee-wee’s Playhouse ran Saturday mornings from 1986-1990 and introduced fans to a surreal, colorful, adventurous world inhabited by Pee-wee Herman. NECA's Trick R Treat Sam Clothed Figure In Action

NECA Toys are known for their excellent and expansive array of collectibles and action figures, and most notably, are one of very few companies tackling your favorite horror fiends. Some misguided fans might mistake NECA's clothed action figure releases as something more for those who want to deep dive into the nostalgia of MEGO toys, or even doll collectors, but the die hard fans know that THIS IS WHERE THE ACTION IS!!! Cult classics and woefully under-served films like The Fog and ReAnimator have gotten clothed action figures alongside key appearances from iconic baddies like Super Freddy and Jason Voorhees as a little boy, packed with his homicidal momma. NECA's Street Scene Diorama: Wish Fulfilled!

In a world where Barbie gets houses, sports cars, private planes and full sets of glamping gear, the lonely 6-7 inch action figure collector is left crying in the rain. We were raised with playsets for each line we collected. Gargoyles got a castle. He-Man got a castle. Crystar got a castle. The freakin lion from Narnia....CASTLE!! Ok maybe it wasn't the lion's castle, but one of those movies got a castle and I bought the thing because...CASTLE!! I've always loved playsets, and as I grew older and shifted from going pew pew with my figures to setting them up in elaborate displays and action shots for photography, playsets became an essential tool. In the last few years, playsets have made a return with towering batcaves, turtle lairs and technological outposts from which Ben 10 and other cartoon heroes can defend the planet, but aside from these gimmick filled, cardboard enhanced, kid friendly kingdoms, there hasn't been much for toy photographers to work with. Then NECA answered the call!

2017 Holiday Geekbook: NECA's Quarter Scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Nothing triggers a retro, flashback reflex faster than the theme song from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. Activating these flashbacks has meant big business for toy manufacturers this past year, with products allowing you to revisit every past love from Q-bert to The Golden Girls. NECA loves what we love, and so it should come as no surprise that they would produce more than a handful of action figures that would give a geek whiplash when cruising any toy display. While all of these toys are fantastically rendered and considered a must-have for any collector, the quarter scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures stand alone as works of art.

SDCC 2017: NECA Announce LAIKA Lineup

The National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA), an entertainment conglomerate and global leader in licensed consumer goods, has signed a deal to produce a multi-category lineup of LAIKA merchandise. NECA will arrive at San Diego with an exclusive for Comic-Con® Coraline Display Box for sale and will be promoting the high end bespoke replicas of LAIKA’S hero puppets from its four Oscar®-nominated films: Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012), The Boxtrolls (2014) and Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). The deal was brokered by licensing agency Striker Entertainment, which represents the rights to the LAIKA library of legacy and future films.
