The 1st Four Minutes of Warm Bodies

What can the first 4 minutes of a movie do for you? Set a tone...make an impact..make you laugh..make your eyes buldge out of your head from the awesome exploding across your screen. Four minutes can be a very long time to pitch a movie to the public at large. Let's see what sort of impact Warm Bodies makes on you...

I'm in on cast alone, but I have to wonder if this constant barrage of one liners is actually something they tried to keep up through the whole movie or just something they added in when advance screening audiences decided the film was not the zombie replacement for Twilight they were hinting at when they first pushed the film. A laugh is a laugh..inadvertent or not. Either way, I'm rooting for this one. Here's the skinny...

A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human - setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
