SDCC 2014: USA Network & Universal Cable Unearth "DIG"

The cast and show-runners of the highly anticipated international drama series, DIG, will treat Comic-Con attendees to a dynamic panel discussion, giving a peek at what viewers can expect when DIG premieres on USA Network in the Fall. The panel will feature series’ stars Golden Globe nominee Jason Isaacs ("Harry Potter"), Emmy Award winner Anne Heche ("Hung"), Emmy Award-nominated actress Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under") and Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy). Additional panelists include co-creators and executive producers Gideon Raff (“Homeland”), Tim Kring (“Heroes”) and DIG pilot director SJ Clarkson.

From Powerhouse Auspices Tim Kring (“Heroes”) and Gideon Raff (“Homeland”), DIG stars Golden Globe nominee Jason Isaacs ("Awake") as Peter Connelly, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a mystery surrounding a young female archeologist named Emma (Alison Sudol, A Fine Frenzy), uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making. Emmy Award-winner Anne Heche (“Save Me”) stars as Lynn Monahan, the head of the Jerusalem FBI office, Peter’s boss and casual lover. Golden Globe-winning actress Regina Taylor (“The Unit”) joins the cast in the recurring role of Ruth Ridell, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel who has little time for the problems that Peter creates with the local authorities. Also recurring in the series are actors David Costabile (“Breaking Bad”) playing Ted Billingham, a coiffed and charming man whose status as an authoritative bestselling author of religious books and TV personality has given him the access and funds to build a discreet religious congregation; and Tony Award nominee Omar Metwally (“Non-Stop”) who plays Yussef Khalid, an American who disappeared after being accused of murder.

Starring: Jason Isaacs, Anne Heche, Alison Sudol, Regina Taylor, David Costabile, Omar Metwally and Lauren Ambrose.
